The reason that I am giving BHG a 1 star is that at the last minute (7pm) I receive an email requesting my bank statement. I thought everything was approved and good to go and I was to receive the funds the next day. If BHG need my bank records why did they wait until the last second and at 7pm to let me know. BHG had 4 days to ask me for the records. I canceled the loan thru the fund folks and the loan officer. I will not use BHG for a loan again. Plus was not told that I had to wait 5 business days for the loan as well.

My personal account rep, Brady, was awesome. He explained everything to me so I understood all the terms and conditions. He was straightforward with me about the amount per month I had to pay. All my questions were answered in a timely fashion. The application process was very simple.

We were suppose to fund on 7/14. The loan officer assigned stopped taking my calls and emails as soon as the paperwork was signed. His manager has also been wholly unhelpful. I have to chance him down, multiple calls and emails and I don’t get a response until late in the day. We are now 48 hours past our fund date and NO ONE there will give us any information about what is going on. This company does NOT care about its customers. Its absolutely shameful

Easiest way to put it they are unprofessional and don’t know what they are doing . I was told by 3 different people yes ur approved , no you aren’t yes you are and now not approved . I had to take time off work to get them whatever documentation they needed . They were very slow and very very short . What a waste of 7 days of getting them files to be blown off like trash .

For me to waste 7 days to get you documentation that you needed because ur rep told me I was approved and I just needed to send those in to get funds after accepting terms . Scam is what ur company is don’t trust them

I was recently in a situation where I needed temporary financial relief from debt accumulated from a home renovation. After searching for the best company to work with BHG came up on a social media ad. I did some research on the company, Trust Pilot being one of the resources. After reading through the many positive reviews I decided to apply for a personal loan. I was quickly contacted by a rep after submitting the application. I was asked for credential documents and got an approval with several options, all of which had very competitive rates.
The underwriting process swift and the funds were directly deposited within two business days.
The best part of this program, at least the one I adhered to, the debt doesn’t appear on your credit score. The only drawback is the lack of an online customer portal.
Overall great company. Thank you BHG. I’ll definitely work with you again.
