My experience of the Bhavana tour of Southern India was brilliant. Everything had been thought of carefully, from pre tour preparations - like timely reminders of getting jabs - help getting visas - through to good hotels and a balanced and very interesting itinerary. It was a great first experience of India - seeing and experiencing in so much in 2 weeks, while also having time for rest and to explore on our own. The size of the group worked well (14) and the leaders Paul and Janice created a very nice atmosphere and were professional, caring, knowledgeable and fun. There was also room for some spontaneity - like dancing one night around a fire on the hotel roof! It was great - I can highly recommend the tour. Ruby also helped my partner and I arrange some additional travel at the end of the tour which we really appreciated. Thank you Ruby and team.

Immersion experience
Travelling with Bhavana Experience gives you just what it says on the tin. They provide experience after experience, the kind that most travellers would not normally seek out but that enrich life. Experiencing manifold cultural, social and commercial experiences: from a visit to a tea plantation one day, a sacred temple the next, joining with the locals to watch the sun set and rise, a challenging walk, a swim in the Arabian Sea followed by an Ayurvedic massage, you feel like you really get to experience the heart of what makes India India. There was only one area where we saw other European tourists so we were well off the beaten track. The tour guides are excellent, your experience and comfort is their utmost aim. I would fully recommend the holidays, they know exactly what is needed to provide a wonderful experience and, when someone in the group needs support, anything, such as help with getting a SIM card, seeking out a pharmacy, changing money, recommending restaurants, they are on the ball and only too eager to please.

Just returned from an amazing trip in Kerala. Beautiful part of India. The tour was well planned and we experienced different aspects of its cultural, spiritual aspects including tea, spice & rubber plantations, temples, beaches, a boat trip down the backwaters. I even had the opportunity to do some Bollywood dancing which was great fun, as well as impromptu dancing with Indian tourists on a beach to celebrate the sunset. Beautiful country and people.

Just back from a 2 week tour of Southern India. This was a fabulous experience. It was so well organised and we packed in so much but it never felt rushed, there was always time to unwind. The attention to detail was impressive and any queries or problems were dealt with swiftly. A huge amount of praise to our two guides, Paul and Janice, who were friendly, knowledgeable and always on hand if needed.
I would highly recommend this tour and Bhavana Experiences.

Just returned from this tour to south India and cannot recommend it highly enough . Janice and Paul the tour guides were knowledgeable, helpful and so kind nothing too much trouble . The hotels were good and some exceptional. The tour took me to places and experiences i would never have done on my own . Just do it , the group is small and friendly and great fun .

Just been on the Southern India tour and it was so amazing. The tour is immaculately organised covering some of the amazing sites but also real India. Everyone was super friendly and helpful from the tour guides to the bus driver and assistant. I cannot recommend this tour company enough it’s a very special one!

A well organised tour with just the right amount of people and Ruben and Paul were fantastic and thought of nearly everything possible . Hotels clean and the staff helpful.A mixture of activities so you saw fantastic sights but also the women's cooperative and the acid attack centre.
Would 100% recommend.

This was my 3rd tour with Bahavna Experiences. My first was The 2019 Northern India Tour, followed by The Southern Tour, and now this most recent Rajasthan Tour.
Bahavna Tours cater for everyone's needs. They make everyone feel included at all times. They are faultless in doing so.
The Rajasthan Tour was no
different.
We visited The Rathanborme Nature Reserve where we were lucky enough to see tigers, and other wildlife animals... Magical.
The women's fabric cooperative, also in Rathanborme was also intresting. It was started by a woman, to empower and enable women to be able to work out of the home, make their own money and contribute to
the family's income.

In Jodhpur we visited a durrie rug company, which is a family run business. It was intresting to learn the process of making the rugs.
The tour guides, Paul & Ruben, were very knowledgeable about the places we visited. They always paid attention and made sure you were heard / listened to. As tour guides they were exceptional.

I've never found fault with Bahavna Experiences, or their tours.
I will continue to use them, and also tell my friends about them.
The highlughts of the toyr was The Tigers & other animals.
The Blue City of Jodhpur. To see the sunset at the Thar sand dunes, watching a camel walk across the sand with the sun behind it was also a magical moment. The guides decided that as a quiz, we had to take a photo of something blue in the city. This was fun.
As mentioned earlier the guides try to keep everyone involved and connected, so they devise games, such as who can pick up the most smarties using chopsticks.
I will continue to use them fir other trips either to India or further .

This tour was superbly organised with great accommodation and activities. The guides Ruben and Paul were both knowledgeable and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The itinerary was busy and varied with so many highlights including the safari at Rathambore
where we saw tigers, a Puja ceremony at Pushkar and many insights into the culture and history of India. I would thoroughly recommend this to travellers who would like the security of travelling with a group and who have a sense of adventure and curiosity about India.

Northern India Diwali special

This tour was great. Over a two week period we did a huge amount covering both iconic sights and some great off the beaten track experiences.

The tour guides (Paul and Janice) were really excellent and ensured we all had a great time.

The pace of the tour was just right with some early starts for travel and sight seeing and some slower downtime.

Overall an excellent tour and highly recommended.

Have just returned from the Diwali Special Northern India tour which certainly was an unforgettable experience. The itinerary was a great mix of iconic sights and off the beaten track activities which gave me a fabulous insight into the real India. Our Tour Guides Paul and Janice were friendly,knowledgeable,organised and attentive throughout. Had a magical two weeks and would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone. I will certainly be looking to travel again with this company in the future.

Ruby is amazing! She is so knowledgeable about the areas you visit, taking time to educate all participants throughout the journey. She is attentive to every member of the group, always taking in to consideration peoples needs so that everyone is as comfortable and happy as possible. I travelled on the South India tour in 2024, which was an unforgettable experience. Ruby's tours are a breath of fresh air, culturally enlightening and BE showcased a depthof knowledgeaboutall the places we visited. I have travelled to India on various occasions but this Bhavana Experiences tour was an eye opener, made some life long connections / friends. I will always cherish the amazing views, all the way from Fort Kochi to Munnar to the Kerala backwaters. I would highly recommend BE and their tours. I am travelling to Sri Lanka later this year with them and can't wait for the amazing itinerary to unfold.

Ruby and Paul are absolute legends! Every second was amazing. Experiencing India with Bhavana Experiences was such an amazing time. Our days were filled with history and electricity but balanced so brilliantly. There was always time to do and experience what you wanted while still being with the group. I recommend them to anyone looking to experience India.

Safety and adventure combined with personalised care, fun and relaxation. Well researched to experience as many aspects of local life and culture as can be packed into just a few weeks, and not just the usual touristy places. Attention to detail. This is my 2nd Bhavana Tour and nothing is too much trouble. From beginning to end, support with flights, pick ups and drop offs, and available constantly for advice and queries. I don’t know how they do it. Clearly enjoy what they do and take pride in their service. This is genuinely no ordinary tour experience. An absolute cultural delight.
