Berlad Graham helped me with my help to buy loan repayment. They could not be more helpful, they replied to questions quickly and kept me informed of progress throughout the process. This helped make the process as stress free as possible.

Alex and Rebecca both worked and communicate really efficiently to us both to ensure we both knew what stages we were at with the sale. The sale was done really quickly without any issues. Much appreciated and would recommend.

DO NOT RECCOMMEND BERLAD GRAHAM CONVEYANCER WORKINGTON. We sold our house to our buyer who used this conveyancing company to buy my house. Throughout the sale there was radio silence and minimal communication from the conveyancer, even when my selling conveyancer, their client and my estate agents tried hourly to contact them for weeks before our move date. The owners of the house we where purchasing were moving to a new build and had to move in on a certain date. We provided all information requested and this date information to Berlad Graham as soon as possible months before but unforunately no communication for months from them. A week before the date of our move the solictor asked for new information from ourselves (such as a boiler service certificate which could have been provided months before) and stated the date would not be possible to acheive. Our sale was delayed by weeks and as we where buying in Scotland we nearly lost our home we where wishing to purchase and the sale falling through for the whole chain. One of the worst experiences of my life.

⚠️ Be very careful before signing a contract with this firm.

In my experience, they failed to provide the service I needed, yet still demanded full payment. Even when the failure came from their side, I was left without the service I paid for. Please read the contract carefully — you may end up paying without receiving the service.

Alex is one of the most efficient solicitors ive dealt with. She was always on the ball, kept me informed and made the process of selling and buying a house alot easier.

Ann Vowels was fantastic and very, very patient with me during a messy divorce and my own personal issues.

Absolutely appalling experience. I approached this firm after they advertised themselves as specialists in the area I required assistance with; neighbour disputes. After an initial call where reception and clerks took detailed information of multiple ongoing issues including; dispute resolution, trespass, boundary breach, theft, property damage and pest control — I was encouragingly told someone would get back to me the next day. Two weeks passed with no contact.

When I followed up, I was told they had no record of my information and was asked to repeat and resend everything. I complied — only to receive a dismissive response from the firm's director, who chastised me for completing steps that his own clerks had advised in the initial call. He then informed me that they in fact do not specialise in any of those areas they claim to on their website.

Unprofessional, disrespectful, disorganised, and misleading. Save yourself time, stress, and frustration — go elsewhere

I've used Berlad Graham in regards to purchasing a property after they were recommended to me.

My experience hasn't been great thus far.

I haven't had a reply in 3 weeks now and 3 emails have gone unanswered and don't have a clue as to where things stand.

Things are moving at a glacial speed and the lack of communication is frustrating.

At this stage, I wouldn't consider using their services again.

Ann was professional, easy to work with and understand, compassionate and pragmatic. We managed everything with phone calls, emails and one zoom call at the start to put faces to names and this suited me perfectly. I cannot thank Ann enough for the support and guidance provided, in what ended up being a drawn out process through no fault of our own. For something that seemed so daunting and overwhelming at the start, Ann made it all easy to understand and helped me navigate things with ease. I am very content with the outcome we achieved.
