Aggressive marketing
We requested a quote for the installation of 2 air conditioners with a single unit from this company, providing the room sizes (10 and 15 m2). However, the company did not send us the quote. Instead, an employee assured us of a visit, which took place today. The company is using an aggressive marketing strategy. The employee arrived with a very uninformative form, without specifying the model characteristics, and wrote a price of 8,000 euros, including installation/warranty and free maintenance during the entire warranty period. After discussing that this price was much higher compared to other quotes we received from different companies, the employee mentioned that if we agree right now, the price would drop to 5,500 euros, but we had to make an instant decision. I asked him to send me the quote with all the partnership conditions and a detailed breakdown of the price, to understand what is included and under what terms. However, the employee replied that they don't have time for that. How can I agree to conditions that were only verbally stated? The only information we had was the brand name LG and the power of the air conditioner (2,5kW each). There were also many discussions about the company's reputation and high-quality service. Perhaps that's true, but I'm not willing to buy a cat in a vacuum without documentary confirmation of all the details of the deal. What will happen or change if we accept the offer tomorrow or in a week, rather than right away?
