If I could leave no stars I would. Communication was full of lies, trying to manipulate their customer because they were young. I had to intervene. The only way we got the plates after weeks and weeks of their lies was to threaten with a 'charge back ' through the bank. The plates arrived and there is a big scratch on one letter. We've put the plates on the car and have put this down to experience. The hassle in the first place was bad enough. I really really would not recommend this company. We will never go there again. Hope you find this helpful. Rethink before you order.

Delivery was very poor, had to wait almost a week without plates. Side badge is simply stuck on to the plates and will fall off pretty soon. Make sure if buying from this company that once you purchase you need to send your care document and proof of ID then the wait begins after that. To be fair they did emails me back after I chased them up about my delivery being delayed and they said they were waiting on the side badges from supplier before they could make them up and send out. Not a great experience but the plates do look decent apart from the stuck on side badges.

Second time I used them. Initially ok experience but this time has been horrific.

Ordered an item on 2nd and then it did not come within the agreed time. No updates nothing raised a chargeback with bank and then submitted help online and then text saying I had not received the item.
They said they had emailed to say there was delays never received anything and no proof was provided even asking. I no longer needed the item as was a present. Then rang again and they said it had been sent out but provided NO evidence. I then get the tracking details and confirmation that the item has been sent after calling up and them saying it had been sent out. Then ignored me
Refused a refund for an item I do not need and lied on multiple occasions.

Shocking!

Made an order, no goods in 2 weeks, I emailed twice, no reply.
Very disappointing!
EDIT, they sent my order so reviewed again

I ordered plates 4 days ago sent all my docs and they said the would email to update on my order

They are now not responding to texts, emails, calls, instagram messages or WhatsApp’s

And I feel scammed and blind

Avoid at all costs

Excellent service as ever, purchased a number of plates, comm’s quick and simple, delivery was very quick and quality excellent as always.

Awful company to buy from. Doesn’t mention anywhere until they already have your money that you have to post your original V5 and driving license to them before they will make your plates, unlike any other DVLA registered seller who will allow you to submit your documents online. Not willing to do this, I contacted them to cancel my order 5 minutes after placing it. Three contact attempts later, no reply to any of them, no plates, no cancellation, no refund. Basically a scam company.

Will be reporting to my bank for a chargeback

Update - reported to my bank to try to get a chargeback, got my money back in under 24 hours

If you happen to be in a similar situation to me feel free to use this excerpt from my claim, all true and correct. The blanket “no refunds” policy is not enforceable

From my claim:
“ Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers have cancellation rights for distance purchases, and any exceptions (such as personalised goods) must be applied fairly and transparently.

The merchant’s terms state that “no refunds will be given under any circumstances.” This is a blanket policy which appears to be an unfair contract term under UK consumer law, as it attempts to remove statutory cancellation and refund rights.

Given that:
- I attempted to cancel the order almost immediately
- The requirement to send original documents was not clearly disclosed prior to purchase
- No documents have been submitted
- No production or service has taken place
- The merchant has not responded to multiple contact attempts”

I believe I am entitled to a full refund. I am requesting a chargeback on the grounds that the service was not provided and the merchant is unfairly refusing to refund.”

Fast and efficient service as always

Used Baspoke Plates Ltd recently and I have to say their service was excellent, plates came really quickly, 2 day turnaround and came out amazing.

Will definitely be using these guys again.
