While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Do not buy from this company/website…

Do not buy from this company/website anything, there is a high chance of you not getting what you ordered. They not only delayed and didn't deliver what I've ordered but also continuously lied about making the refund in amount of $249.

A scam, or just fraudulent?

An absolutely terrible company. Running kickstarters which are just scams, holding your money for a couple of years before sending a far inferior product than what was promised.

Hard to state the date of experience, as doing business with this company takes a couple of years, either to receive a product, or to get a refund.

Benro is not to be trusted

Benro is not to be trusted. No customer care for professionals that rely on a trusted partner after time of purchase. If not a cheap disposable item make sure to value customer care, e.g. warranty, when comparing prices with other brands.

Buyers stay away!!

Buyers stay away!!! Benro Theta is over a year behind. Have been trying to get an update from Benro for months. No responses. Asked for my money back months ago and no response. Maybe Benro is having financial trouble and can't afford to reimburse the money you pay. Their website is not even updated. It still says shipping in May. DO NOT DO THE SAME MISTAKE I made... DO NOT BUY A BENRO PRODUCT! I am disappointed with Kickstarter. You would think that they would screen the trustworthiness of the companies they promote.

Unprofessional Company incapable of clarity.

If zero was a number possible to use to review this company I think that still would be a big number to give to Benro.
This company used Kickstarter to get money for a product, they've collected over 2 million dollars from backers in the spring of 2023 and as of today May 2024 I haven't received my unit and like me other people is still waiting for their units as well, I've asked for refunds and never got taken seriously on that, their updates on the production and shipping are awful, All is asked is more clarity, especially when you play with people's money.
