We offer a range of furniture including Beds, Mattresses, Sofas, Chairs and Bedroom Furniture. Today the store is run by Harry Benmore, May's Grandson, who maintains the same personal service that the family has offered for more than 70 years. Our showroom is located on Welling High-Street. It is open 7 days a week and has a very relaxed atmosphere. All of our products are available on our website. We deliver to all customers within the DA and SE postcodes (and beyond) and all orders come with our 'white-glove' delivery and assembly service at no extra charge. Had a mattress delivered today by two really kind and helpful men, instead of putting the mattress in the passage, they took it upstairs, unwrapped it, and put it onto the bed, we are both in our late 70's and this was great, they even took the plastic wrap away. Well done Benmores, would highly recommend to all others. Thanks xx
Ordered new bed, arrived in good time but unfortunately I didn't check the height and it was to high for me to get into. Contacted benmores and they arranged for me to change to a lower one. Just arrived and it's perfect. Extra cost but it was my fault.
Please carefully review the information on the website to avoid any misunderstandings. The company has a limited service area. It might be more practical to disable orders from outside the designated area entirely.

Recently bought a double divan and absolutely love it. Because of the great reviews I decided to take a trip to Welling and visit the shop, so glad I did. With help and advice from the lovely man in the shop I found the perfect bed for me. Delivery guys were great, unpacked and put together in no time. Very happy customer!

I ordered a double divan bed. The delivery was the next day and the guys that delivered and fitted the bed were both friendly, professional and quick. I ordered the bed with the owner who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and polite. I purchased the bed whilst there was a sale ongoing and I got an absolute bargain. I can honestly say unreservedly that I can thoroughly recommend Benmores for their excellent service and choice in beds and furniture. Small and friendly business, very reasonable prices and nice shop to walk around but the highlight is the staff. In the shop the assistant let me browse undisturbed for as long as I liked and then patiently gave me very knowledgeable and honest advice and took time to go through the payment process with no hurry or pressure, not pushing this deal or that as you find so often in retail. The shop gave realistic and reasonable timelines for home delivery (I think mine took two weeks or so, perhaps slightly less, though I'm told this varies depending on availability), phoning ahead and offering flexibility with delivery to fit with my schedule. They also operated a very handy and cheap old mattress removal service when they delivered the new one which took away a headache!
Overall this business is smoothly and knowledgeably run by lovely upfront people. If you're looking for furniture give it a try.
