Oh my Gosh

Oh my God, what terrible paint. Been using it for 50 years but they changed the regal paint. After 6coats plus primer I have blotches all over the walls. I hv no idea how to fix this! If someone is asking if these bad reviews are real feel free to send me a message I will show you picture of my walls. That will teach me buying American paint, I hv used it for years and never had a problem. The rep told me it’s because of my drywall is old.

You don’t get your money!

I’ve been waiting over a month and a half to get a payout and just tried to get a second payout. Nothing yet. Can’t get ahold of a real person to get any help. Very disappointed. They used to be good about a year ago. They need to go back to that.

The quality of the Benjamin Moore Stay…

The quality of the Benjamin Moore Stay Clear product was very poor, compare to previous, and the same product used. After 2 months of waiting for the specified product investigation, I'm still awaiting the resolution. I'm sure Next Day Paints are doing their best but if they closely work with Benjamin Moore manufacturer who is the reason of delays and introduces poor customer service, unfortunately it also reflects badly on Next Day Paints. No refund and no product replacement has been yet offered, there is no information available yet on their product testing process either. I have asked for the faulty product that I have paid for to be returned, which is also not yet confirmed. As a small DIYer who has used and defended Benjamin Products that are often called overrated for its quality and overpriced, I will be rather be sad to now join them on that opinion after my recent unpleasant experience.

Benjamin Moore no longer sells flat finishes.

Benjamin Moore no longer sells flat finish paint...at least not in my region. My local stores REFUSE to do a flat finish for Regal Select paint. Customer Support says I can order it online and pick it up elsewhere meaning I gotta drive to the next town over up to an hour away to pick up paint...If a company franchises their brand...the franchisee has the responsibility to match what the company offers. I can't believe the solution I received was to drive an hour away to pickup paint. Nothing stops me from sharing the colour card to a competitor to copy the paint which I already did.

-Don't know about their applications of their paint, but all I can say that there may be an intruder in Bergen County of this business as a heads-up!
-Be wary, better to be safe than sorry!
-Get their paints sold for other competitors to have an edge

I hate writing complaints but this was…

I hate writing complaints but this was so stupid. I called to ask for a sample (and they were v polite and nice) and told them I'd come to collect it today. I travelled across London to get it, but when I arrived, the shop was full of employees but they refused to answer the door and would only deign to tell me to go away through the glass door. Apparently they decided to close early for a stock issue. So rude.

Paint ruined my wall

Paint ruined my wall, i struggled to try and get a refund, ultimately wasn't worth the effort. It was only 100 pounds and they made it difficult, they must be struggling.

I purchased exterior paint

I purchased exterior paint, and went with the most expensive they have, hoping the quality would be great. It is the worst paint I have ever used. The paint from one can to the other is not the same mixture. You can see different colour variations on the surface where I painted once it dried. And yes I stirred it before using. Coverage is terrible. 3 coats later. The paint in the can smelled like it was rotting, a very acidic smell, fermenting.

I’ve used Benjamin Moore for years and was good with the paint. Seemed good quality and had good coverage. Then they recently changed their aura paint Formulation. The new aura is awful And expensive. I can’t get adequate coverage and have to go over the same area several times. I will never buy again

Very very disappointed

Very very disappointed. After years of using Farrow and Ball paint I thought I'd try this brand because the colour selection seemed more extensive. However, after using this paint I will revert to Farrow & Ball paint again. The reason for this is that the colour (perhaps my fault for choosing) was dreary and didn't measure up to the hype (I researched paint for a north facing kitchen). In fact it matched exactly the ageing extractor vent which had yellowed considerably. The colour was called 'Gentle Cream' (Aura). The application of this paint was less than desirable - very runny and required more than two coats (I swear I could still see the (light grey) previous colour after two coats even though I was assured by the store that 'one-coat of this is all that you'll need'. Also the finish isn't anywhere near as good as previous Farrow & Ball paint I've used which tends to hide defects quite well. This paint was no better than cheap paint I used many years ago and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I'd like to suggest to Benjamin Moore that they re-name this colour 'Ageing yellow air vent'! and do something about the consistency and cover because it's absolute rubbish and horrible to work with.

Top of the Range Paint.

After using many different brands of paint, I would highly recommend Benjamin Moore Aura range.
Tha product goes onto the surface like no other paint I've used.
I've used other quality paints such as Little Green but Benjamin Moore knocks the sock off the competition.

Testers pots do not match paint- do not trust.

Im in the UK and bought a tester and then a gallon of regal select matte. The colour did not match at all and it transpires that the tester is actually an eggshell and uses different recipe to the Regal Select matte that I bought - so much so that when Brewers investigated, there is red ingredient in tester but recipe does not have it in gallon of paint I paid for. BM should make testers like for like - result is that I will not buy BM again as testers cannot be trusted at all as they are often not used in the actual paint that you buy which is fairly crucial! Did get a refund and also VERY expensive compared to US price.

I would give it a zero if I could

I would give it a zero if I could. I’ve been a long time BM fan, and never had a problem until today. I spent over 600$ CAD on 5 gallons of Aura paint in the eggshell finish. The paint seemed to be ok at first, though it dried so quickly I couldn’t seem to roll the paint onto the wall quick enough, leaving streaks. I was hopeful it would look better after it dried, but in fact it only got worse and worse as it dried. After 24 hours the walls looked splotchy and streaky full of roller marks. At first, I thought perhaps the walls needed more sanding and/or my technique needed to be adjusted. So, I watched YouTube videos, researched and talked to painting experts. I bought all new set of rollers, a retractable pole, waited 48 hours and tried again. Despite all my efforts, I got the same streaky outcome. I’ll never buy this paint again.
