Slow Response and Poor Customer Experience
I wouldn’t recommend submitting your designer bags for sale here. The process is extremely slow, and after waiting a long time for a response, I was simply told they weren’t interested! The lack of communication and efficiency made the whole experience frustrating and disappointing. Definitely not worth your time.

Jennifer, we’re so devastated to see this review about your recent experience with getting a cash quote. We’re genuinely really upset to read this, as we always try our absolute best to provide a positive and seamless experience for everyone.
We aim to respond to all form submissions within 48 hours, and we’re very often praised for how quick and simple the process is when selling your bag to us. As soon as an offer is accepted, we provide a special delivery label and the very same day the bag arrives to us (once the item passes our authentication and quality control) the payment is issued.
You submitted a form to sell two items to us on Wednesday 15th April, and we responded on Friday 17th April after reviewing them. As we weren’t able to make an offer on this occasion, we sent our standard response, which we use when we have to decline. This is a carefully written message that we send to all customers in this situation. It is an extremely polite, respectful, and transparent response, explaining that we would love to purchase every item offered, but unfortunately have to be selective based on a number of factors, such as our current stock, demand, and the time of year. As a small business, we simply aren’t able to offer to purchase every single bag we are offered. (We only offer cash offers and no consignment service).
We hadn’t received any further communication from you following our response, so receiving a 1 star review really came as a surprise. We would have really appreciated the opportunity to speak with you directly and address any concerns beforehand.
We truly pride ourselves on our customer service and have worked extremely hard to achieve over 500 five star reviews across our eBay and Trustpilot in the past few years, so feedback like this does come as a shock and really impacts us.
We’re very sorry again that you were left feeling disappointed by this outcome, and we hope this helps to clarify our process a little better. We truly believe that, had you had further experience with us, you would have left feeling happy and pleased with the service we provide.

The service I received from bells and whistles luxury was nothing short of exceptional. Sian respected my position as a private seller and kindly evaluated the luxury bags at hand that I was looking to sell and provided clear rationale and detail behind the market price they could achieve as well as what bells + whistles were able to offer. I would not hesitate to recommend this company simply due to the fact that not only do the employees have a significant amount of expertise, but critically integrity as well. of course I would expect to receive the same service as if I was a purchaser of their bags. It's nice to know that I know where to go in the future. Should I have an expensive requirement to keep a loved one happy! 😆

I can't praise this company enough. I've sold a few items to them and the service is superb, offering fair prices, free postage and super fast payment. What an amazing company, Bells and whistles far surpasses every preloved company I’ve ever dealt with! This month I have purchased a beautiful prada bag that is exactly as described, coming with an entrupy certificate for added reassurance. All my messages were answered straight away with all the details I needed. My bag came the next day, wrapped carefully and securely. The ordering and the selling process is super duper quick and easy! I’ve sold two bags so far and both experiences were very straight forward. The payment was sent straight to my account the same day they received the bag (no waiting around at all!) Sian is so lovely, it’s like dealing with a friend rather than a company just after your money.
