Only bed our dog would lay on

We tried lots of different beds for our rescue dog but he refused to even put 1 paw on them. When I put this bed on the floor he went and laid on it straight away. We were so shocked! Great quality, so soft and snuggly and great value for money. Definitely recommend this bed.

Not suitable for a Rottweiler

Useless, to big for the washing machine. Cover isn't removable.
The stuffing is thin, I bought the correct choice for a 40kg Rottweiler I worried that it was way to thin. The stitching came undone.
She has now chewed at it and the stuffing is everywhere!
A complete waste of money and after reading offer reviews I wasn't prepared of the stress for a refund!
Smoke and mirrors! Great advertising, poor product.

Poor customer service and poor quality control

I bought a second bed because our dog loved her first one and it was useful to have beds in different rooms. After 2 months I found stuffing on the carpet and was shocked to think that our sweet, gentle lab had pulled one of her toys apart. Being somewhat baffled I checked the bed and found that the stitching had come undone on the base. I sent images and an email and part of the response from customer services read, ‘I'm extremely sorry to hear the bed has been damaged. Our beds are very resistant as they are made of durable materials, but unfortunately, sometimes, with dogs constantly laying on them, it might cause the internal padding to flatten slightly with time or the material to deteriorate faster than expected.’ I think anyone would agree that this shouldn’t be the response after 2 months wear, especially as it is one of several other dog beds being used. In addition, the bed was not damaged - it clearly appears to be poor workmanship, with images to prove. I was offered a discount on a new bed. I’d rather use another company, as they are all pretty competitively priced.
I have read online that the beds come from China which may be a reason for late delivery, though not in my case. I wonder whether there is ever any ‘quality control’ on the products which come vacuum packed or whether the offer of a discount is just to shift stock quickly?

I received fantastic customer service…

I received fantastic customer service throughout the process. Firstly I had trouble with the website not accepting my postcode. So I contacted them and they emailed back in the time they stated and said it was a fault on the website, as they could do it from their end. Asked me to send to them what I wanted and they would send me the invoice. Perfect response. By chance I noticed they do payment by another means which means you don't need to give them postcode etc as it's done by the payment method. So useful to know. Secondly due to the extra orders from the sale we were notified of orders being later than usual. But the bed ordered arrived in a reasonable time so well done Bella&Toby. Had updates throughout letting me know when it was to arrive.

Information on website is not accurate

I see lots of positive reviews, but have to point out this issue of high demand! If goods are in high demand be up front on the website! The website says goods will be packed in 1 business day and then dispatched (now the 21st still not packed), and goods are in stock. If that is the case fine, but it isn't after ordering you then get an email the next day saying demand is high and goods will be delayed. This the company knows when you place the order.

The process is therefore misleading, so now I am in the position when a new puppy is coming to the house and they won't have a bed.

I would also note why is everything discounted if demand is so high, which leads me to believe the pricing is misleading in the first place.

I would far prefer to support small businesses than amazon, but experiences like this is one of the reasons people use amazon.

Bad quality

Very disappointing - shortly after purchase my dog managed to chew the bed which is basically full of white stuffing. When I sent photos, all I was offered was a discount on a future purchase. I would not buy this bed again.

Very poor customer service

Edit: since posting, I have been chased directly by B&T and by them through trust pilot because they are trying to get this genuine review taken down. I have provided proof of purchase to both under threat of review being removed. I think that says everything!

Very poor customer service - email several days after ordering online to say product out of stock. Had to chase for new estimated date and then for second package as only half order initially arrived with no explanation or packing note.More slow responses but eventually resolved - about 3 weeks to deliver. Not overly impressed by quality of the beds themselves. Feels like a mistake. Can;t persuade my dogs to use them.

Bella&Toby is an outstanding company…

Bella&Toby is an outstanding company that kept me informed every step of the way. Although there was a delay in my order of 2 dog beds due to high demand, they promptly reached out to inform me about the delay and apologised for any inconvenience caused. What's even more impressive is that they proactively contacted me before I even had a chance to follow up, and they also informed me that the beds would be shipped separately. This level of communication from Vittoria is truly excellent!

Moreover, the dog beds themselves are fantastic. They strike the perfect balance of thickness, providing warmth and coziness without being overly thick for warmer months. I highly recommend them.

Ordered this bed on the 1st February…

Ordered this bed on the 1st February with acknowledgment.They say 24 hours from order. It’s now 10th February and all absolutely no explanation through their automated system as to why I haven’t received my order.
Hopefully I have managed to cancel my order and will be refunded.

Honestly the best dog bed ever we…

Honestly the best dog bed ever we purchased. We had a cheaper version but never lasted much cos they like to play with it, but when they got a new bed, my labrador dog never leaves his new bed and he really likes it because it’s very comfortable and soft. He never done it to his old bed but this time he is so different

A superb large dog bed that was almost…

A superb large dog bed that was almost like a magnet 🧲 to my dogs as soon as I placed it down on the lounge floor after opening the package. We've used it over the weekend in the dog friendly hotel as it gives calming and relaxing vibes to our dogs, one being a nervous rescue Dalmatian. Really think this dog bed is excellent and the company are great to deal with.

Bella & Toby dog bed

My wife had read reports about these calming dog beds and as Lucy ( our 10 month old Golden Retriever) either destroyed or didn’t use the beds she had previously, we decided to give it a try. At first view these beds seemed very expensive but once the discounts being offered on the Bella&Toby website were taken into account they became better value for money. Using the website to purchase was very easy and bed was delivered in good time. Most importantly it is still in one piece and Lucy uses it happily.

Jimmy’s new bed arrived really fast and…

Jimmy’s new bed arrived really fast and he absolutely loves it. Actually, so do I. It’s really soft and tactile, and as Jimmy is an older dog, he seems to enjoy snuggling into it. Also, I’m conscious of him feeling the cold as my home is quite cool, but he seems warm enough when he snuggles into his fluffy, tactile bed.

AWFUL

AWFUL! The bed took forever to arrive with communication only when I had sent multiple emails. The bed appeared to come from China and not the UK, and when it eventually arrived the quality was terrible, nothing like the advert. On arrival it was flat with air pumped out. Shaking and plumping didn't help. The bed is very thin, I've not seen a bed of such poor quality. I could have bought a better one at a cut price store. Trust the 1 star ratings, they're the honest ones!

A good experience all round.

The dog-bed arrived on time and is exactly as described. I have a 9 year old rescue lurcher which is quite fussy about where he sits and sleeps, after a good sniff of the bed he was happy to curl up in it and promptly fell asleep! A good recommendation from him.

Excellent purchase

Good communication, package arrived in good condition. The calming bed is of high quality, quite weighty, soft as a cloud but very supportive for my lively flat coated puppy. I bought the extra large which is probably a bit big for him at 7 months old but he loves stretching out and relaxing
