Charged a "20% restocking fee" for faulty machine return
Charged me a "20% restocking fee" for returning a faulty machine within 30 days. This illegal and against the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but given my current circumstances of having a fresh new born first child, I had no time or energy to put up a fight. Being a small/family company you'd expect them to honour my return with a full refund but they deducted £300 off my refund. Really disappointing.

We are sorry to hear that you remain dissatisfied with the outcome.
Following receipt of your videos, we carefully reviewed the concerns raised and also assessed the machine directly alongside after arranging collection of the unit for further testing. During all inspections and bench testing, we were unable to replicate the fault described, and the machine was found to be functioning correctly.
We also communicated throughout the process that the machine could either be returned to you following testing, or alternatively a refund could be offered less the agreed deduction, which was accepted verbally according to our terms and conditions.
The request was raised 30 days after purchase and after the machine had been used. As a small family run business, we always aim to approach situations fairly, professionally and transparently for all customers.
We are genuinely sorry to hear of the personal circumstances you mentioned and wish you and your family all the very best with your new arrival.

Bought a DF64 Gen 2
Bought a DF64 Gen 2, arrived fast and has been an irreplaceable part of my setup since.
Also want to shout out the customer service, I accidentally purchased the wrong option with different burrs than what I wanted. I emailed and they promptly changed my order to the correct one.

Fast delivery and excellent ongoing support of my Profitec Move
Product range is excellent and pricing competitive. Having placed my order for a Profitec Move, it was pleasing to find it was in stock and delivered within a few days … some companies state stock on their websites but then place orders with the manufacturer on the back of your order). Fast delivery and prompt follow up support with an issue with a loose portafilter handle was much appreciated. On line “how to videos” in the BB website have also been very useful. Overall, very happy with the whole buying experience and highly recommend Bella Barista!
