This was the last time I used BeFrugal
I placed an order on a website through BeFrugal, where I was promised 45% cashback for my first purchase. This was indeed my first order on that site, so I fully expected to receive the advertised rate.
However, I was only credited with a few percent at the standard rate instead. I contacted customer support to investigate the issue, but they refused to look into it .
This kind of customer treatment is disappointing and undermines trust. Because of this experience, I have decided not to use BeFrugal again and would not recommend this service to anyone expecting fair and transparent cashback terms.

Was just notified that my legitimate percentage back was being taken away with some nonsensical reason.
I'm about to report them to the FTC, AG, DA, 7 On Your Side, et al.
Constantly having to fight for rebates even though shopping trips are 'recorded'. There always seems to be an issue.
Keep a paper trail, although that doesn't seem to work either.
Why are you advertising that the merchant will give cashback& after the item is bought & delivered IF THEY DON'T? That's fraudulent.
Many on social media are complaining about the lack of points as well.

When Cash Back is reduced or removed after initially appearing, it’s because the retailer later reported the transaction as ineligible — for example due to returns, order changes, use of non-qualifying coupons, or other conditions in their terms. While shopping trips may record the visit, final eligibility is determined by the retailer after purchase.
We do not benefit from denying valid Cash Back — if a retailer does not approve a transaction, they do not pay us either.

I like the fact that they held my money…
I like the fact that they held my money until I wanted it unlike Rakuten who transfered it to my PayPal without my knowledge and in small increments it just gets wasted. Today I was able to transfer almost $150 to replace my power washer and get a spray painting booth.
However my last offer was to get a Sam's Club membership for $13.50 however when you click on it and get to Groupon it comes up as $25. I tried it multiple times and nothing changed. Neither BeFrugal or Groupon was of any help.

I’ve been using be frugal for a year…
I’ve been using be frugal for a year and half. Yes, you have to wait a little while to cash out but….if you didn’t use the site you wouldn’t get anything back at all. The only problem I have is remembering to go Be Frugal before shopping.

Above all, it is great that I can trust it.
I think I have been using it for about 10 years.
I had forgotten about it for a while, but
my purchase history was automatically credited thanks to my Chrome settings.
I visited today for the first time in a while and am withdrawing the $49 I have accumulated.
I feel very good. Since it is such a good site, I hope many people use it.

BeFrugal Glitch and Ghosted Support
BeFrugal has a new point system. Last week I earned 51,230 points. I chose "log in with Google" as my log in option.
I went to cash out and it says log in with google is not aloud and I must create a password. When I create the password it removed all the points from my account. worth $60+.
Their support is unresponsive and chat agent say submit a ticket. Problem is they dont respond to tickets.
The kicker is I suspected it might happen and have photos of my account showing proof the points in there! I offered to show them proof and they refused to look at it. I'm posting it here as a warning this is a new feature of theirs but its broken.
