Following discussion with Stuart during preparation of annual company tax returns I was advised to submit an application for a refund on SDLT which was previously paid as part of a company purchase. Absolutely brilliant! Stuart is the man. He helped me close out my self assessment account as I had ceased trading, walked me through expenses since I hadn't been making any claims where I could have, showed me where I had opportunities to claim for previous years and saved me thousands of pounds. More than that he's patient, calm, incredibly knowledgable, he took the time and had the ability to explain concepts to me I had never been able to get my head around and he's generally a treat to talk to.
