After 8 years with The Bearded Colonel, I’ve just upgraded my razor, my shaving brush and my soap. All of which have brought me much enjoyment, but of course it’s the blades that really matter, and they continue to be good value. I’ve just re-evaluated the competition (both shop and online) and can’t beat the cost I’m paying per week. All backed by excellent customer service.

Excellent razor blades, and excellent service. I've had a few queries over the years, and have always had a speedy, personal reply. Would definitely recommend.

I contacted Alex at the Bearded Colonel because I hadn’t received any blades for a month or so. This was entirely my fault because I hadn’t updated my payment details. When attempting to input my new card details I guessed that there may be a problem with the payment side of things on the website.
I emailed Alex and he explained that he was experiencing some problems with payments on the website. He emailed again to ask me to try again which I did and the payment was actioned accordingly.
I received my blades promptly. I have to say that I have been using Bearded Colonel blades for a number of years and they give me the best shaving experience I have had.

Keep at it… a shave just as worthy of a general as much as any colonel - and vastly better than those of most soldiers these days,

As a very longstanding customer of The Bearded Colonel I think they are the best in the business. At 68, I've spent a good few years trying out every other brand but once I tried these, I was happy to remain loyal. Excellent product and customer service. Prompt dispatch and the razors last well, I always have a few spare when the next consignment arrives. Keep up the good work.

No nonsense subscription. All I wanted was a razor and blade subscription, I had looked on many other companies and had to get this and that to get this and that for x amount of pounds and it was a pain. Stumbled across The Bearded Colonel and found what I needed. One razor, 4 blades and new blades sent out in the time frame I wanted. Perfect. No hassle and job done. Razor and blades arrived a couple of days later with a great storage tin. Fantastic shave and I'm well pleased.

Nice new brush. A bit more glue wouldn't have gone amiss. It fell apart in under a week.

They scammed me.
Made me pay immediately. Set up a recurring subscription

Three weeks later and I still haven't received anything

I have used these blades for many years. The metal handle is great, weighty and strong. I used this everyday and get a great shave. The blades I believe are very good. I have a strong growth of facial hair and need to shave twice a day if going out for the evening. I have not found a better shave than the Colonel. Also I have never had a problem contacting them and they have always been great in helping me out for fast delivery when I visit the UK.

The razors are good for the price but the handles could be a bit sturdier and better made as I get through a few every year.

Is this company still trading ? tried to log into web site to cancel subscription but its been "under maintenance" for atleast 4 days now. They have now taken the money anyway it seems and they are seemingly uncontactable. I'm not very happy.

This company has one of the best razor blades in the UK, far better than Gillette, in addition the company service is 5 star excellent, I had a problem with the postal company but the Bearded Colonel were amazingly helpful in resolving it. Could not ask for better.

Delivery on time, first use brilliant shave, the stainless Steel handle is perfectly balanced for head shaving, price compares well with other brands, from first impressions I think The Bearded Colonel will be my shave of choice. Plus an email was sent checking in on my purchase excellent service.

I upgraded to the metal handle & am delighted. It is a weighty, well balanced device which with minimum cleaning looks like new.

As always it offers good value for money when you consider the quality. There will be cheaper handles available but this one offers real longevity & is a great well made addition to a shaving kit.
