A living nightmare

I am shocked by how bad this company is. I ordered an item over 10 days ago now, I had to pay 6€ delivery on a 25€ item. For that price I expect it much faster. Nonetheless, I have tried to contact them twice, no reply! The app they use to track the item, has no actual way of tracking the package! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

Satisfying services? NOT

You say that you strive to provide fully satisfying services, products, etc.

Regarding your service, it is absolutely unprofessional.

We asked you for an invoice for the product we purchased, and you confirmed in three emails that you could issue one, since the product was intended for our company. After we placed the order, you informed us that you could not issue the invoice after all, and eventually the order arrived without any proof of purchase or official tax document.

However, the product itself is very good.

It is not a coincidence that in many reviews you see comments such as “Terrible service and zero communication!”

The “terrible” comes from the fact that you may respond immediately and politely, creating an optimistic impression that you will do what we ask, but in the end you do not.

I am sorry about the way you handle your customers while at the same time promoting yourselves as wanting to provide fully satisfying services.

YOUMADE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND SPEECHLESS

I have never got a service this kind and good before.

I bought a Varia VS3 over 2 years ago. In December it stopped grinding correctly. So I contacted Bean bros to get support to fix it.. I tried everything they recommended. At the end they told me it was the motor. So they offered me to sent a motor so I could replace it.
One week later they told me they would sent it..
1 week ago it came here, and for a big surprise for me, they have sent me a brand new grinder! And I haven't seen the email where it wasn't possible to get the motor, and they would sent a new grinder instead.
I have never got a service this kind and good before. So thank you!
I will definitely buy from you again and can highly recommend it to others too!

Articles came exactly as expected

Articles came exactly as expected, well packaged and I am in Love with my new Varia VS4. Delivery towards Germany tho took some while (about 2 Weeks) But from shipping Details due to late shipping at all. You might need to wait 1 or 2 Weeks for your newels to arrive.

Perfect resolve of faulty VS6!

Living in the Netherlands i ordered the varia vs6, some burrs and a scale from my Danish neighbors BeanBros. Was a bit unlucky with the unit which was broken. No problem though, customer support was awesome in taking back the unit and replacing it without extra costs. Kim kept me up to date and ive never felt any negative things. The entire procedure was top notch. Thanks!

Great service, Awesome Product

I've purchased a Varia Aura Kettle at the Beanbros Online-Shop and could not be happier with it. The kettle has lifted my filter experience to the next level and i love using it.

To add, even though they started a winter sale (just) after my purchase, i received a substantial partial refund after asking.

Stock shown as available when it's not

I ordered a Varia VS4 from Bean Bros because their website showed it as in stock and even available for pickup.

After a week with no shipping update, they finally admitted the item was not in stock due to shipment delays

At that point, I requested cancellation and a full refund. I repeated this request multiple times.

Instead of processing the refund, they created a UPS shipping label and then claimed the order had “already been shipped”

— despite the fact that the label was generated after I had requested cancellation.

Creating a label is not the same as shipping an item.

This experience was frustrating for three reasons:

The product was listed as in stock when it was not.

Communication was vague and repetitive rather than transparent.

My cancellation request was ignored multiple times.

Delays happen. That’s understandable. But listing unavailable stock and then refusing to cancel when asked is not acceptable.

I would strongly advise others to double-check availability before ordering and be cautious if timing matters.

I had a very disappointing and…

I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with BeanBros regarding a B2B purchase.

Before placing the order, I was explicitly promised that I would receive a proper B2B invoice. Based on this assurance, I proceeded with the order and completed the payment.

After the payment was made, I was informed that the item was suddenly “out of stock” — something that was not communicated beforehand. On top of that, the promised B2B invoice was never issued.

Since then, they have stopped responding to my emails entirely.

This is highly misleading and unacceptable business practice: promising B2B terms to secure a sale, failing to deliver the product as agreed, not providing the agreed documentation, and then ignoring communication.

I would strongly advise other businesses to be very cautious when dealing with this company.

Unfortunately quite disappointing

My experience with beanbros.co was unfortunately quite disappointing.

I ordered a Meraki espresso machine in January at a discounted price of €1,699. The very next day, the price returned to the regular €1,999, but the status of my order did not change. When I contacted customer support to ask about the status, I was informed that the machine was actually out of stock and if I wanted to wait for it — despite the website not indicating this at all and clearly stating that the product would be ready for pickup within 24 hours.

I was then told, after double checking, that the restock would happen by the end of January. By early February, nothing had changed. After contacting support again, I was informed that the restock was now expected “within approximately two weeks,” without any reference to the previous communication.

This inconsistent communication was frustrating. I therefore cancelled my order and explicitly pointed out that products which are out of stock should be clearly marked as such — as is already done for many other products on the website, which they promised to do.

What makes this particularly problematic is that even now, the Meraki espresso machine is still listed at €1,999 and still not marked as out of stock, despite clearly not being available.

Overall, the issue was not the delay itself, but the misleading availability information and shifting timelines, which made the ordering experience unreliable and unpleasant. Customer support was very responsive, still waiting for the refund on my PayPal.

Varia AKU Mini - just perfect

I have bought the Varia AKU Mini scale the after doubting if an Acaia scale would be better. But in the end I chose this one because of the nice OLED display but especially the Spro Mode as this one is not there on the Acaia.

I have it now working for about 1 week plus and the experience is really good, fast response, good modes and size wise perfect to fit under my machine.

The price is reasonable but also a lot cheaper compared to an Acaia and with more functions, so this was for me enough to go for this one.

Shipment was fast and smooth. Good packaging and a very nice surprise in the box with a small bag of coffee beans from BeanBros... so overall a very good and nice experience.
