They have pretty good deals on their platform, although there were some that are not available in my country. I would recommend them if you're looking to get discounts on AI services and cloud hosting.
Will not stop charging my account. I can see they are opening my email as I have read receipts. These guys are crooks. Very shady that they wont stop charging. I guess I'm going to have to call visa. Terrible business practices, do not recommend.
Scammer.
They claim to offer AWS Activate Credits, but after you join their membership, they require you to register with Mercury. It's actually Mercury that provides AWS Activate Credits, not Beamstart. This is misleading and deceptive behavior.
But before you subscribe, they will not tell you, you need to register Mercury.
Just DO NOT believe them as they just scam your money and guide you to Mercury.
I had a very disappointing experience with BEAMSTART. I paid for their subscription to access AWS credits, filled out all the required details, and emailed them to claim the offer. Despite waiting several days, I received no response. I sent them another follow-up email, and after several more days, they finally replied, asking me some questions. I promptly answered all their questions, but again, I received no further response even after waiting several days.
It appears they are simply scammers. I strongly advise everyone to avoid dealing with them. This was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Please note that the AWS deal STRICTLY requires applicants to have a technology startup that is production-ready. The eligibility criteria are clearly outlined on the deal website, and applications are typically declined if the startup does not meet these requirements. Deal applications typically take 7 - 14 working days to process (as stated on the page as well).
We have successfully helped thousands of members with their applications without any complications. In the rare instances where credit rejections occur, it is usually because applicants do not meet the eligibility criteria or attempt to manipulate the system through fraudulent practices, such as creating fake websites or impersonating legitimate ones. Unfortunately, many of these individuals often leave anonymous one-star reviews on platforms like this when their efforts fail.

I filled out their form and paid them two weeks ago. They’re collecting your card details, including the card-verified first and last name, and then, before providing any service, they require you to complete a full KYC process via a web conference, similar to what a bank would do. Afterward, they decide whether your site looks legitimate enough to be classified as a startup. On top of that, they require you to open up your social media, linking all your private information together, which raises serious concerns about privacy breaches and potential fraud. I’ve asked them to refund immediately if they’re not interested in providing the service they advertised on their site. Let’s see how they respond.
After reviewing Beamstart's response and their AWS credits offer [here](deal/5000-aws-credits), I couldn’t find a single mention of assessing product maturity, B2B backlinks, or the importance of organic internet growth for credibility. It seems they're more focused on collecting data than helping startups thrive.
The key issue here is that the company failed to fulfill their offer and did not provide a refund. For those interested, I’ve saved the original offer details, including the $5,000 and $10,000 AWS credits, to ensure they can't quietly alter it on their site. While AWS reserves the right to reject applications at their discretion, that’s understandable. However, Beamstart cannot sell an offer to provide an activator ID, fail to deliver the service, and refuse reimbursement based on vague internal conditions that are not clearly stated on their website or terms.

Hi Efrena, thank you for this review, it looks like you're trying hard to publicly give us a bad rep. However, you're leaving out plenty of other important information.
Firstly, we do not "collect" your card details. All payment information is processed on a 3rd party gateway (Stripe). We do not store any details on our website. This is clearly stated on our website members page before you sign up.
Secondly, we require all members to complete their profile on our website to ensure transparency. This is not a "KYC" check. The information we collect is mainly business & professional related information, and we do not collect personal information as you can see on your profile:

Your linkedin profile (https://www.linkedin.com/in/efren-hettinger) uses a "stock" profile picture to look like a legitimate profile. When we requested clarification about this, you changed the picture and wrote us a 1 star review (very professional). These in itself are already red flags, and that's why we require you to provide social media information. This is not to "link your private information", but rather to verify that your website/startup is legitimate. Yours clearly isn't.
But however, let's say we give you the benefit of the doubt. Even if all the information you provided to us was accurate, your website still does NOT meet AWS Activate's eligibility requirements - you need to be a startup to qualify for credits. Your website is a corporate marketing website / landing page promoting agency services. This is clearly stated on the deal page (https://beamstart.com/deal/5000-aws-credits) BEFORE you register as a member.

Just to clarify, we use a secure billing gateway (Stripe) to process all payments, and no card data is stored on our servers. Card details are only utilized when making payments for memberships, which you voluntarily signed up for. All payment information is stored on Stripe.
Memberships can easily be cancelled in the member portal, and the membership cancellation link is displayed at the TOP of every page on our website (it's also clearly printed on the contact us page).
If you had trouble finding the page, you could have easily contacted us, and we would have pointed you in the right direction. Stating that you have "no option to cancel the subscription" is totally misleading.
The platform is really user-friendly, interactive, and indeed useful. The thing I like about Beamstart is that it lets you connect with quality people; looking to hire, opportunities, and casual chat. It also gives information about the latest news; lifestyle, technology, and business articles, worldwide but specifically in Southeast Asia. The app also gives regular updates for bug fixing and will ensure that the users have their best experience upon their app usage.

It's a great platform for entrepreneurs looking to network and connect with many other business owners & CEOs online. The platform definitely can be improved further but it's sufficient to get things done like connecting new clients & people who shared the same mindset.
I will be very careful about this app and the "excellent" reviews I read about it. The app is quite bad to use. Make a lot of lies about what it can do. Most accounts on beamstart is inactive because the app dont give people enough value to use it. But users cannot really delete their accounts. So appear there's many user when there really isn't. This company has a history of making fake reviews and ignoring the real reviews from real users like myself where we had many problem with the app. I advise everyone to think twice about this app.
Good app for any budding business, the network within the app is the hallmark for me and it has helped me find the right freelancers or companies for the jobs I need done.
