Worst university,I have ever seen … No discipline… Don’t do the LLB degree cuz they don’t have law college approval

There is a person called vice chancellor.. He is the worst person I have ever seen .. He doesn’t know even speak to a student

I'm currently studying at " BCAS Kandy Campus ", and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place for studying " Software Engineering ".

The main reason is that " what they show on their website is not what they actually teach ". The syllabus looks modern online, but in reality, they teach " outdated content " and give " old assignments ".

They don’t teach any modern technologies, and even the software they use is outdated. Some subjects feel completely " useless and unrelated " to our field.

Even the " assignments are poorly prepared " — they contain " a lot of grammatical errors ", " incorrect question numbers ", and " structural issues ". They don’t look or feel like **professional academic assignments** at all.

A few lecturers clearly struggle to deliver proper lessons and seem to " lack knowledge " about the subjects they teach. Because of this, I’ve started to " doubt the qualifications " of the lecture panel.

When it comes to the campus environment, it’s also disappointing. The " canteen is in a terrible condition " — I can’t even call it a canteen anymore because " they don’t serve any food ", and I’ve even " seen rats " there. The " library doesn’t have enough space " for students to study, and sometimes we have to leave because some lecturers use the library for their own work.

Another issue is how they " force students to buy things ". For example, they once tried to sell a t-shirt claiming it was “compulsory.” They also often say things like “if you don’t participate, you’ll be downgraded” or “bring proof that you attended” — especially for things like " useless HSU meetings ".

They also once said we would go on a " field visit ", but that " never happened ". It was just an empty promise, and honestly, a " complete lie ".

Finally, the " reception staff is unhelpful ". I once asked for help with something important, but they didn’t care at all.

Lastly, don’t waste your money studying here. Find a better institute with a qualified lecture panel that actually cares about students and their education.
