The Baxter Clewis program has helped me in many ways. My success coach Danielle is awesome, I couldn't ask for a better advisor. She's always keeping up with your progress and can point you in the right direction for assistance. For the authority mind set, Will Clewis is the man for the job. He has helped me alot as far as confidence and personal struggles are involved and makes you take a deeper look into understanding yourself and your true potential. Boyd Clewis' style of teaching the PCI-DSS framework forces you think critically, and makes the curriculum difficult to make you, so end the end you have a better understanding of the framework. Overall this program has changed my life for the better and I feel my journey has just begun!

My experience thus far
I've had a pretty good experience so far. My advisor Janelle has been great in keeping up with me and making sure that I stay on course and have all the resources available to me. I must say that I've been most impressed by the involvement of the students and everyone's willingness to help and give advice, tips etc. Boyd makes time to have sessions with us and is always willing to answer questions. I have, and will continue to recommend this program to others. I will admit that I was nervous starting coming from a nursing background, but the information has been relatable and easy to grasp even though you do have to take time and put in work it is worth it! I can't wait to see where it takes me.

Life changed in less than 2 weeks!!!
Let me start out by saying that I come from a terrible background and upbringing. I went through life full of doubt and self confidence until I started this program. I am a father with 7 kids and have spent the last 10 years of my life missing every event and important date for my family because of being in the Oil and Gas industry. I always had a passion and general knowledge of computers but little did I know that going through this program would open my eyes to how much true experience I already had and was lacking the direction of how to focus it and make something out of it. Going through this program not only showed me that I have what it takes to be successful but it built my confidence in a way that I was not prepared for. I now KNOW I can be successful and overcome any obstacle. I can and am worthy to find a job that changes my families financial situation but I do not have to be gone 99% of the time to achieve it. I am going through a divorce and this gives me the ability to work from home and be with my youngest daughter who was born with holes in her heart and give her the love and time she deserves. Not only that but I can pay back the $400K worth of hospital bills on my credit because of her surgeries and insurance not covering it. The craziest part about all of this for me is the timeframe and how quickly it changed things for me. I joined the Baxter Clewis program on March 1st 2024. I completed it in less than 2 weeks including the final exam. Before I even finished the course I had my first interview set up. I have now done that and on to the 2nd interview next week. All in all i say all of this to say that no matter your situation you can change it and achieve whatever you want to with this program if you take the time to master the material!

Quite excellent, honestly. The course is incredibly thorough and well-organized. It took me some time to wrap my head around how we are supposed to truly learn and master the material, but that’s ok. There are countless hours of additional material to help you master the course as well as constant contact with your Mentor throughout your entire journey. The Baxter Clewis Training Academy has given me hope for a better future with starting into a new career in cybersecurity. Learning and mastering the PCI DSS framework has been a process but, I have all the resources I need from the program. Boyd is thorough in explaining and breaking down how to master PCI DSS and the entire team and community is very supportive, helpful, and encouraging throughout my first few weeks of being in the program. Also, this program has challenged me to change my mindset in a meaningful and positive way. I thought I was Done Learning New Things
I thought I was done learning something new and along came Baxter Clewis Academy and everything changed for me being in this Academy. I had fear at first getting into tech, but it has been such a pleasure to be in this academy, with the teamwork and the fact that you are not alone and have someone always there to help.
Out of the 3 BootCamps I've been in this one was more involved and has an internship when completed. You can't lose unless you don't listen or follow directions. If that is you, don't join cause you will mess it up for the ones it is for.

My journey so far
The reason I haven't given this program five stars is because I haven't gone through the Talent Development Program, yet. Up to this point I have been well introduced into the world of PCI DSS via the resources from Baxter Clewis, my awesome success coach, Cori, and the alternative resources they recommend plus beyond. With effort, time, dedication, things start to click. I believe it all comes together in the TDP(internship) portion of this program.
The TDP I am really looking forward to, where I can get real world experience and deeper comprehension.

I am truly grateful to have found this program, I researched multiple programs for about a year before I decided on the right one and the Baxter Clewis Training academy remained my top choice in my research and in making this choice it has proven to be the correct one based off of my needs. With the program, support and resources they provide it shows me the founders and their team really want to see you win. The program makes you think and it requires you to apply yourself. I enjoyed it and I would do it again. I just applied to TDP and I am waiting for an answer back. If the Talent and Development Program (Internship) is as good as the Academic part of the Academy then I know I will have everything I need when I start looking for a position. I love the talent development portion…
I love the talent development portion of this program! It gives you real hands on experience that you will use in the real world! I got promoted to team leader shortly after I joined the TDG and it has been nothing but blessings. Being able to lead a team and work with some great consultants and put that authority mindset on is such a blessing! I have no complaints when it comes to Baxter Clewis! I also talked to a guy that had been in the program and he got a 6 figure role and said everything he learned at Baxter gave him the tools necessary to land the 6 figure role!

I like the flexibility of the program and the way the course is being delivered. Working two jobs gives me no much time to study but the way and manner through which this course is delivered, I'm able to study in transit and revise them over and over again for a better understanding.

The Baxter Clewis Training Academy is worth it!
As I have been going through the Baxter Clewis Training Academy, I have been met with an incredible amount of support both technically and mentally/emotionally! The skills labs and practice quizzes with each module was extremely well made to test and reinforce everything learned. As I have been searching for a new job due to me being laid off the day that I decided to join the program, my success coach Jonathan Riggans has checked on me constantly to be sure that I’m staying motivated and encouraging my ability to find a new job for now as well as reminding of how things will be different for me once I complete the program and change my financial situation. This is the definition of a well rounded comprehensive training program. I love being a cyber hero and I can’t wait to enjoy the fruits of my labor with a new position at the end of the program!
