Scamming their customers
I purchased a harmonica from Bax UK online around two weeks ago. I was advised delivery time was 3 business days. I had not received a tracking number after 5 days and contacted them, they eventually provided it after numerous asks. Yesterday, I received a large box via Royal Mail, opened it and inside was a dirty/used two-prong adapter… no harmonica! I. Contacted their CS team only to be told they’d send the correct item and I’d receive it Friday or Saturday. I asked them to ensure they expedited it as it was a birthday gift for a friend, they replied, no we can’t expedite it, as that is not standard procedure! I’d think sending a plug instead of an instrument is not standard either! I then receive an email stating the item has been on back order and they do not have a future restock date from the supplier… however, they advised on the phone that it was definitely in stock! They are now completely ignoring my request for a refund. Do not purchase from this shop as it very much appears that they are scamming customers by sending used useless items in place of the item they ordered, possibly to delay process or scam them. I have reported them to the UKICC and will not be leaving this.
