All went well. Delivered quickly. Tear in package, but all components still there inside box. I didn't get time to fit the new lock until today, which is why I haven't submitted feedback earlier.
Only one problem - and it was my fault! The new lock is not quite the same as the old one that it will replace. The old one did not have the handle-operated spring-loaded latch mechanism, just the key-operated deadlock (but there are holes where the latch handle would have fitted - perhaps this is an option). The latch protrudes and prevents the lock from fitting in the welded enclosure in the gate where the old one fitted (even when pushed all the way in - the fit in the enclosure is very tight).
I could try disassembling the lock and removing the latch mechanism (which may be what was done with the original Welka lock), but first I'm trying to cut a new aperture in the wrought-iron gate side panel so that the latch slider fits in that aperture, and then allows the lock to fit into the enclosure as the old one did. This will take some time, as the wrought iron is very tough!
