New to barefoot shoes
I'm new to barefoot shoes and I wasn't sure how it would go. I've been wearing them daily and my knee pain has vanished. I start getting knee pain when I wear "normal shoes".
I will say, these shoes might not be the best for running or standing for long periods of time. I occasionally do valet and I can't quite run in them as well but, it has helped me gain ankle strength.

Barebarics basically blamed me for my injury.
Second update: Barebarics responded to my previously updated review (in which I asked for a full refund, since they did say they were there to assist in any way they could to ensure I was pleased with my purchase) by simply cutting and pasting their original response (in which they essentially blamed me for my injury).
So.
The shoes were marketed for concrete/sidewalk walking.
I bought them for concrete/sidewalk walking.
I proceeded to walk in these shoes on concrete and sidewalks, and lots of grass, too.
I ended up at the podiatrist with a stress fracture.
Barebarics deflects blame.
Barebarics says they want to be sure I'm pleased with my purchase, but they apparently don't mean that.
Perhaps I should have said this full refund is the last thing I'll ever ask from them? Because I for sure will never buy anything from them again.
I was going to let the whole thing go, but Barebarics solicited a review from me six months after the purchase. So, they asked for it.
If this is level of customer service is typical of them, then that does not bode well for their company.
Original review: I bought my Barebarics because they were marketed to be good walking shoes for sidewalks/concrete. I did a lot of walking in them and ended up with a stress fracture in my right foot middle toe. So.....
Update: Barebarics responded, and essentially blamed me. I don't think blaming the customer is a very good business strategy. They did offer to assist "in any way possible", which was nice. I would like a full refund.

It's a good qualify, with some minor gaps
It's a good quality, but have some gaps, like hard leather in front. When the leather bends when walking, then due to its rigidity it presses hard at the fingers, this may be uncomfortable. Perhaps the leather is worn out. Also, creases immediately formed at the bend, at the point of contact of the laces the leather was worn out.

Barefoot shoes that do not look weird. It's really comfortable to finally have enough space for my toes. My issues with ingrown toenails have mostly gone away.

Comfort, quality and style
I have been suffering from hallux valgus for a few months now, and unfortunately I can no longer wear many of the shoes I had. I bought the Arise model from Barebarics and I am really happy with the purchase. The shoe is so light and soft, I wear them all day long and they are very comfortable, I can move my feet well without having that feeling of compression and without pain. Plus the design is stylish and they go well with so many outfits. I will definitely buy more models and colors.

No refunds given
Do not buy from this company if you're from the UK or outside the EU. They offer no refunds on purchases. The product is okay and arrived in a timely manner, which is why they get 2 stars but they are not a customer friendly company.
*The response given is not correct. Both UK consumer law and EU consumer rights directive mean that a consumer has a right to return their online order within 14 days, regardless of businesses internal policy. The only exceptions are foods and custom made items, which this purchase was not. Clearly this businesses flaunting those rules.

Nice product, but sadly poor customer service & return policy
I hate to be a negative person and give bad reviews, however in this case I have been given no other option.
I had to return the shoes because they were too wide for my narrow feet, was super excited to try barefoot sneakers with a great design. I notice the return is at my own expense, no problem, that is clarified on the website.
But what is not clarified on the return process is which address to send the package with expensive shipping costs back to. I am very disappointed in this, I follow the instructions when creating the return on my account, never was it once stated in this process where to send it to - only on the FAQ section for returns. Then I receive an e-mail clarifying the return is at my own expense - okay good clarification once again - the there is no address mentioned, only a button for "Return status", you need to press on this vague statement to find the infos for the return status and THEN it mentions the address to ship it to.
After calling customer service I did not feel heard as a customer and only repeatedly received a "I am sorry" "But there is nothing we can do, this was your mistake".
To say the least: I am disappointed in the experience and lack of customer support and care. Without care there cannot be proper service or support. The product itself is great, but not the service. Be careful you are sure and aware when proceeding with any orders and especially returns.
