Really hands-on troubleshooting assistance simply by exchanging pictures and repair guides via email. Next day response. They sent me the replacement part at no charge during the warranty period. Simple installation by just following the guide.

Take Vacation and Hope for a Call Back
Was efficiently referred to Tier 2 support.
However, the call back occurred at some random time - no time frame set. I left a message requesting a call back window. No response.
I - like many - cannot take a day off hoping Baratza tech support might call some day at some time.
Seems the performance goal is set for % called backed, not service quality / customer satisfaction

I've owned my Baratza Encore for years…
I've owned my Baratza Encore for years now and have always been quite satisfied with the job it does for me. When I finally did have an issue with it, I called them and explained it to the lady that answered the phone and she immediately knew what the cause was and named the parts I needed and when I asked how much those would cost her answer that they would be free surprised me. A few days later I received them and the replacement was easy and it's back to grinding like new! Thank you SO much!

Background broken ring burr holder for encore esp
Background broken ring burr holder foe encore esp bought 25 nov 2025.
Raised ticket on 23rd of March through sage who supplied the appliance.After Several phone calls that week found that the ticket had been forwarded to wrong dept on Baratza.
Eventually Baratza Support contacted me to say part ordered. Part finally arrived 27th April (over a month without grinder) due to no stock in UK. Find it bewildering that a part that is supposed to break to protect machine is not kept in large quantities. Not acceptable to be without a product for a month only owned for 5 months.
