My favorite sportswear brand. Love the quality and am a customer for years. Highly recommend.

I ordered L size trousers (raw shape tights 2.0) , that is my regular size, fits perfectly. The fabric is soft, print is beautiful (even after couple rounds in washing machine), the waist fits tightly. My problem has always been dropping waistline during exercise. So far these stay on the waist best compared to my other tights, but still problems with that, search for the perfect ones continues.

I think my relationship with BARA Black Shape Tights XL is officially longer, healthier, and more emotionally supportive than most of my actual relationships.

My love story with these tights started basically when BARA first appeared on the market. I bought one pair “just to try them.” Rookie mistake. Since then, I have returned to the same model over and over again like a woman texting her toxic ex at 2AM — except these never disappointed me.

For context: my weight has been doing Olympic-level gymnastics for the last 5 years. Up, down, sideways, emotionally sponsored by stress, breakups, late-night snacks, “I’ll start Monday,” and random motivation bursts. Genetically, I’m built like a proper pear — hips first, rear end second, common sense third.

And through every phase of my personal “body evolution,” these tights have remained loyal soldiers. Whether I gained weight, lost weight, or entered my “I refuse to look at the scale” era, the Black Shape tights somehow always managed to hold my jiggly bits together with the strength and determination of a Marvel superhero in compression fabric form.

These tights have survived:

- breakups
- moving houses
- dating disasters
- emotional meltdowns in grocery stores
- gym phases
- “soft life” phases
- and several situations where the seams legally should’ve filed for divorce

But this weekend?
This weekend was their final boss battle.

Now, let me be honest: over the last year I gained weight and absolutely refused to size up. Delusion? Maybe. Optimism? Definitely. So when I pulled a fresh pair out of the packaging before going out, getting into them turned into a small cardio session. At one point I genuinely thought: “Wow… maybe I actually lost weight overnight?”
No babe. That was simply industrial-grade compression and faith.

Once vacuum-sealed into the tights, my friend and I spent the day hauling multiple bags of soil around a garden center like two exhausted farm workers in cute outfits. Squatting, lifting, carrying, sweating — not a single rip, tear, surrender, or suspicious sound from the fabric.

And because apparently we believe in challenges, we rewarded ourselves afterward with a restaurant feast so excessive that ancient Greeks would’ve looked at us and said: “Alright ladies, calm down.”

Course after course arrived. At some point I stopped eating out of hunger and continued out of respect for the chef.

Then came coffee. I sat there across from my friend in complete disbelief and said:
“I genuinely cannot believe these tights are still holding the line.”

Because understand this:
these tights had just endured physical labor, body compression beyond engineering standards, AND a competitive eating event.

Still standing.
Still sculpting.
Still pretending I make healthy life choices.

So if you’re someone with hips for days, thighs that clap when they see a staircase, or a body type that requires active negotiation with most clothing brands — YES. These are the tights for you.

You can garden in them.
You can survive emotional crises in them.
You can eat enough for an entire village in them.
You can live in them.

At this point they’re not even leggings anymore.
They’re shapewear, emotional support, structural engineering, and a life partner.

Great customer service. It makes you feel valued as a customer.
And great quality tights besides that, I havent been able to find similar compression i workout tights elsewhere.

I have been ordering my sportswear from Bara for years now and have yet to be disappointed, everything is great, fits very well and is most comfortable to wear. Love the prints as well and most definitely squat proof! My last order got delayed, my questions were answerred swiftly and my feedback was not only heard, they upped their game and improved customer service even further. Consider me loyal, I highly recommend Bara!

And they are expanding with jeans and bikinis and sweaters. So cool.

There is 1 minor thing: the fitting of the slim fit shirts with long sleeves is totally off. I orders as always xl leggings (I’m from holland and otherwise my legs are to long😂) so I also ordered xl in the sportshirts but they endend up in the trash. Did not fit at all. Sorry

This was my third time ordering from BARA Sportswear over the past few years, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently poor.

My latest order was placed on March 26 and only arrived on April 21. This is significantly longer than the delivery timeframe stated on the website. As a customer located in Estonia, very close to Sweden, this level of delay is especially difficult to understand.

While delays can happen, the main issue is the tracking system. The tracking updates did not reflect the actual movement of the parcel. The status remained unchanged for a long time and was later updated with a new date without any real progress. Only much later did the parcel actually start moving according to the local carrier.

This makes the tracking unreliable and misleading from a customer perspective.

After three similar experiences, it is clear that this is not a one-time issue but a recurring pattern.

I will not be ordering again. If you decide to order, be aware that delivery may take significantly longer than stated and tracking information may not be accurate.

Love them! Took a while to come, but the pants are all fantastic!

Very satisfied customer since years, good fit and functions like reflection and compression

I placed an order on March 12 and have still not received it after more than a month. The tracking has not been updated since March 30.

Customer support responded, but only with generic explanations about customs delays and no concrete solution. They also claimed there was a recent tracking update, which is not visible on my end.

I even received an automated email asking me to confirm delivery, although the parcel has not arrived.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, especially considering the order value (~148€). I expected more reliable shipping and clearer communication from a European brand.

Update (April 27):
I still have not received the order, and there have been no tracking updates since March 30.
My last email requesting a resolution and refund to the company was sent on April 22. I have not received any response.
I am now proceeding with a chargeback through my bank due to non-delivery.

Awesome customer service after package after tracking failed. My order appeared to have gotten lost along the way, and when I contacted BARA to ask about my package they investigated and a new package was sent out shortly after. This arrived without any issues.

After 17 days I finally received notice that my partial order was sent.
17 days to ship an order is, in my opinion, unacceptable.

I love my BARA leggings. The are so comfortable♡

Size is good, comparable to the size I have in my regular clothes.

When I had a question regarding my order, the customer service was very helpfull and friendly.

I would definitely recommend Bara.
