I’m genuinely disappointed with my experience with Bandolier.
I purchased two products — the Remi Chrome Magnet Wallet Crossbody and the Lily Chrome Side Slot Leather Crossbody — expecting something sleek, premium, and well-crafted based on the branding and price point. Unfortunately, both items fell far short of expectations.
The materials feel cheap and plasticky rather than high-end leather, and the overall design is bulky instead of refined. They don’t deliver the polished, minimal look that’s advertised — quite the opposite.
For comparison, I’ve purchased similar products from Custype that are significantly better in both quality and design, at a comparable or lower price point.
The delivery experience only made things worse. My initial order got lost, and while it was eventually resent, the entire process took far too long and lacked efficiency.
Overall, this felt like paying a premium price for a product that doesn’t match it — in quality, design, or experience. I wouldn’t repurchase.
Brand new case already peeling. Customer service is disgusting.
I’ve had a case for 3 days, it’s the chrome case. Today I noticed it’s peeling in several areas. I sent in an email asking for options. They wrote back “sorry for the warranty issue, we can exchange the case or provide store credit”. The is a 3 day old case. I will be escalating to my credit card company and will never buy from Bandolier again. It’s a $138 case cheaper lasting than Temu.

I have ordered at least 10-12 of these cases . However last Christmas, I bought 3 more, ! for each of my daughter-in-laws and ! for myself as we had all gotten new phones. Mine was the cow print with the magnetic wallet. the color on the print wore off by the end of January!! The magnetic wallet was alway coming undone and the metal clip that secures to the phone broke! I reached out to them weeks ago and they assured me they have a one year warranty and i need to provide photos and all the order info...which I did over two weeks ago and still no response! BUYER BEWARE!!! Th warranty they offer is nothing more than verbal lip service! They obviously have no intention of honoring that warranty even to a many time returning customer!!

it would be beneficial to this company to hire a designer that understands how the item they sell can be used best. I spent over $100 on an item that you store credit cards in also. Because of ridiculous and unconscious design it can flat open and after use your cards can come flying out. Also it boasts that you can use it as a stand but it is contrary to iPhone design because when watching YouTube for example it is upside down. Poor design.

I bought a Bandolier strap and phone case in September and assumed it would be premium quality given the high price. After just a few months the clasp on one of the clips fell off whilst wearing it. I contacted Customer Service immediately as the product is still under warranty and received a response to say they would send a replacement. I received no follow up asking for an address and have been chasing for months now with no response.
Given this company charge a ridiculously high price for something that is made in China and a cheap quality, I’d expect decent customer support and a prompt replacement.
Really disappointing and so if you’re looking for a phone strap, don’t waste your money!
Reach out to PayPal for Refund within 30 days
I purchased this crossbody bandolier under the assumption that all the material is leather- otherwise it is not worth paying so much money for it - and it turned out that the strap is plastic. I tried to resolve the issue with customer service which was not helpful and cold. I was told since it is a final sale, they basically can't help me. If this happens to you, reach out to PayPal as soon as possible and ask them to return the product or at least be aware you are not buying 100% leather.

The product looks good. The AirPods case is very tight but I guess the leather will relax in time.
Product would be at least 4 starts but I have moved from 1 to 3 because of the deliver debacle.

I wish I could rate my product. All I can rate is delivery issues. I was told delivery would be 13th to 16th Feb. Then I was told it would be 17th. Now I am told there are delays but they do not confirm why or how long a delay. This was purchased for a specific reason and now may be too late. It is lack of communication which is annoying. I have no idea if or when these goods will arrive
Beware of restocking fee and customer service concerns
I ordered the wrong color and immediately (within 5 minutes) reached out to Bandolier to correct. They were not able to do that. When I received the case I realized it is not what I expected regardless of color and I am returning it. There is an $8 restocking fee to do that. That's not the level of customer service I expect in this price category.
Poor quality for the price, case broken twice, they won't replace
I LOVE the products Bandolier creates, however I've had my same case break twice, both pieces of hardware, and they only offer a 1-year guarantee. For products as expensive as theirs, I feel this is a cop out. Also, it would be easy enough to send a replacement piece of hardware if they aren't simply willing to replace the product. As much as I'd like to continue supporting and recommending their products, I will be looking elsewhere. I want a brand that stands behind the durability of their product.

I have been a Bandolier customer for over 10 years and I have not been able to find another case as beautiful or of great quality. Customer service is excellent and would always recommend.

I was a loyal customer of Bandier for about six years. I was eyeing the Taylor bag and bought it on the Boxing Day sale. I just received it and am super disappointed with the quality of supposed.’ premium leather.’ it looks super cheap. I tried returning, but they said it was a final sale so they will not refund or exchange it. I will never buy from this company again and I warn you not to either.

I have fallen in love with this company. The customer service is beyond exceptional. I have never, ever had a bad experience when I have contacted them. They have gone out of the way, above and beyond to help me. Their products are outstanding and they stand behind their product. I am a customers for life!
Fantastic Products and Bandolier Team
I became a fan of Bandolier products a few years ago. I started with the Hailey phone case then added the matching air pod case and a wristlet. I became obsessed with the quality, functionality and look of these products. I then purchased the Dillon bag in two colors. They hold everything I need (passport, keys, slim wallet, lip gloss and mirror). They are great for travel and daily use. Fast forward to this Christmas ... I bought a new iPhone and yes - a new phone case to match its size. This time I got the Remi for the mag charge feature. I recently had a question for the Bandolier team regarding my new order and they were so quick to respond, gracious and helpful. I am a forever fan. I would not hesitate to purchase from Bandolier. You will LOVE their products.

I ordered a Bandolier product as a gift for my friend, including a gift box. Unfortunately, the order arrived much later than expected and was no longer relevant as a gift.
When I attempted to return the item, I had to communicate with customer support for over a week. For four days, I repeatedly explained with screenshots attached that the refund amount shown did not match my purchase. My total order was $238, yet the refund amount displayed was $118, which is almost half of what I paid.
During this correspondence, I clearly stated that I needed to process the refund and return the package within the next few days, as I was leaving the country. Despite this, I received no clear response in time. Only after I had already left did I finally receive an explanation that:
• the refund amount was shown in USD, while I had paid in CAD, and
• the cost of the gift box is non-refundable.
By that point, I was already out of the country and unable to return the package. As a result, I lost $237 on a product I cannot use.
I have never experienced such poor customer service from a premium-priced brand. The support team lacked clarity, efficiency, and basic attention to detail. I spent an entire week trying to resolve a refund that ultimately never happened.
I strongly suggest that Bandolier review its refund policy and invest in better training for its customer support team. I also hope the company will consider offering store credit or some form of compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss caused by this situation.
Great products, shockingly poor customer service
I’ve purchased several Bandolier products over the years and always found them to be great quality and long‑lasting. Unfortunately, this time my experience has been completely overshadowed by their terrible customer service.
I returned an item and have proof of delivery from 5 December, yet I’ve received no refund and no communication. I’ve emailed multiple times and even sent messages through Instagram, but I’ve been completely ignored. It’s extremely disappointing that when it comes to taking payment, everything is smooth, but when it comes to refunding a customer, they avoid all contact.
I’m giving one star solely because of the customer service. The products may be good, but this experience has made me rethink ever purchasing from Bandolier again.

I have been shopping with Bandolier for a very long time. The products are of the highest quality. Functional and stylish, a winning combination. After buying my first Bandolier, I received so many compliments that I bought several more. As I changed phones I would find it necessary to buy more wallet cases and they always have the best designs. Since buying Bandolier, I no longer carry a purse. Just my phone case with wallet and I'm good. Their customer service also just did an AMAZING job of resolving an issue I had trying to order a new case and separate wallet. Once I informed them of the issue, they notified their IT dept to resolve it and assisted me in getting my order processed. I will forever be a loyal customer. Keep up the great work!!
