Looking for a unique way to experience Vilnius? I highly recommend trying one of the tours offered by Eglė Gal from Baltic Gently – unforgettable moments guaranteed!
This Saturday, we had an incredible experience – the "Mysterious Old Town of Vilnius" tour with the wonderful guide Eglė Gal. Even though the Old Town may seem familiar to us, this time it revealed itself in a completely new light: vibrant, unexpected, full of hidden gems that many walk past without ever noticing.
The route took us from the Miracle Tile near the Cathedral, through the winding streets of the Old Town, a stop by the breathtaking St. Anne’s Church, and into secret courtyards where time seems to stand still. The experience wasn’t just about facts – it was a vivid, captivating story where history, legends, smiles, and a touch of mystery beautifully intertwined.
Eglė is a true professional in her field. Her sense of timing, ability to read the group’s mood, and adapt the tour accordingly deserve special praise. Her flexibility, warmth, and charisma created a cozy atmosphere where we didn’t feel like tourists, but like friends being shown around by someone who deeply loves the city.
If you're looking for more than just a simple walk – this tour is for you. It enriches, inspires, and leaves you wanting to return and discover even more.
I wholeheartedly recommend it – it’s a perfect gift to yourself or your loved ones!
I loved the workshops making traditional Lithuanian masks and the excursion in Rumsiskes. It was the first time for me and an amazing experience I would like to repeat.
If you are keen to learn about traditional Lithuanian culture in an immersive way that really allows you to get involved and participate then I cannot recommend Eglė and Baltic Gently more. You will learn songs and dances, eat the food and be as one in the crowd in a really fun and unforgettable tour!
If one wants the way to enter the Baltic spirit , Eglė Gal is the best guide. She is deeply knowledgeable about the customs and culture of the people , both in the countryside and in the city. . She brings mythology to life, she knows the landscape where history happened .

I found the website through Google, filled out a request form on Baltic Gently website to join a tour for Jonines celebrations in Kernave. Egle called me the next day to learn more about what I was looking for and explain all of the options and where I could go to see the traditional celebrations. Although the tour was fully booked at that point, she was very helpful explaining the details, the route, and helping us book a restaurant really close to the main stage. It was a great experience overall. You can really tell that Egle puts her heart and her soul into her work and really cares about offering.ll the best experience to each of her clients. For sure I will be back for more tours with Baltic Gently to explore Lithuania.

I arrived for a vacation in Vilnius city, and one day Egle served us as a tour guide in Vilnius Old Town. Egle's tour made this day extraordinary and memorable. Vilnius is my native city, but I've learned new things that I've never known before. Egle shared the fascinating history of the Gate of Dawn (Lithuanian: Aušros vartai), some churches in Vilnius's old town, and other historical buildings. I've learned about Vilnius Ghetto, which I never heard of before. Egle knows history well, and her stories are captivating. My friends and I truly enjoyed Egle's tour, and I highly recommend her as your tour guide.

I had a wonderful tour of Vilnius with Egle - it's a city I've been to tonnes of times but she seemed to know everyone and everywhere. She showed me a grand historic hall in a hotel I've walked past maybe a hundred times and took me to a brilliant little Georgian food kiosk that I'd also just walked past. She really knew the place.
