Website still active despite company bankruptcy – very misleading
I placed an order with BALR on July 14, 2025, and received an order confirmation shortly after. However, the item never arrived. I later found out via email that BALR had been declared bankrupt the day after my purchase.
What is most frustrating is that their website is still up and running, allowing customers to place new orders without any mention of the bankruptcy. There is no warning, no banner, and no notice at checkout – which feels extremely dishonest.
I’ve now had to go through a complicated Dutch claims process to try and get my money back, with no guarantee of a refund.
I would strongly advise others to avoid shopping from BALR until there is clarity about their legal and financial situation.

The order arrives in a big, soft package that, once turned inside out, becomes a nice tote bag with BALR. logo — cool idea! The free perfume sample was a very nice surprise, too. Looking forward to ordering some more products soon.
Trustworthy and excellent customer service
The website is very easy to use and my purchase arrived quickly. The customer service is excellent. I contacted them via whatsapp regarding a return and they helped me immediately.

Got 2 Q series hoodies from a retailer and another sweatshirt direct from Balr.
The Balr delivery was quick and I get a lot of positive comments on the items when I wear them.

Slippers quality not good
Slippers Broken after wearing these 2 days. Bought them on the website in sale. After contact and picture prove they want me te return them and i Will receive a refund. Same size nog available they told me but on the website the size is still available. With refund it's Impossible now to buy them at the same price on the website.

In my personal opinion the best Designer Brand out there. The majority of my clothes and what I buy are from Balr! Outstanding quality and craftsmanship. Especially the Q-Series, but their Sock Runners are fire too! Balr is my personal favorite clothing brand and I hope they will never seize to always deliver the quality they have right now
