It's hard for me to decide how many stars to rate. I've used Balmonds products several times, and they're fantastic. Unfortunately, when I bought a larger quantity of Skin Salvation (6 x 250 ml), two boxes became rancid, despite the expiration date and proper storage. I contacted Balmonds, didn't have any complaints, but let them know what happened and sent photos. Their only response was that it was very strange and that I could still use the creams despite the awful smell. I wasn't expecting a refund, but it would have been nice if they had at least offered a coupon for future purchases. Unfortunately, there was no incentive to stay with them as a customer.

I suffered a severe burning irritation to my face and neck immediately upon application of Skin Salvation, I do not have any prior chronic skin condition but bought it as I wanted to avoid chemical skin care products.

I reported the inflammation to customer service, their reply was to refer me to the retailer to seek a refund, as if the harm their product has caused to my face and neck was not their concern or responsibility!

A refund will not heal my skin, ease the pain or compensate me the cost incurred to treat my skin from the burning and blistering this product has caused.

The liability for the product and of legibly detailing its ingredients on the labelling is the responsibility of Balmonds not the retailer.

I am left on Christmas Eve in distress and discomfort having to cancel all my holiday plans.

Skin Salvation, well, wow, it just gets rid of eczema, truly ground breaking stuff, not to mention also leaving your skin feeling amazing! Miracle!

Their 'Skin Salvation' is an amazing product. I've had dry cuticles all my life and have tried all sorts of different hand creams, salves, medicated creams and cuticle oils which maybe work for a day then stop. This is the only product that has genuinely made a difference, even after using it for only a few days. I won't be without this now.

I have very sensitive skin and rosacea but Balmonds products have given me the clearest skin I’ve had in years! Their Gentle Face Wash and their Body, Hand & Hair Wash are both amazing products, thoroughly cleaning my skin without making it sore or dry.

One of their products was recalled, so I contacted customer services. They responded very quickly and worked hard to create a solution I was happy with.

This cream is amazing. My baby has suffered from severe eczema for 7 months. We had tried every cream, lotion and balm under the sun but nothing worked. GP's kept recommending steroids but I was determined to go down the natural route. We tried oat soaks and wet wraps, but no joy. Eventually my mum found this balm from balmonds and within the first few days of use, the eczema on his face vanished and the eczema on his body had massively reduced, its no longer red and dry and I can see that his skin is returning to its pre eczema state. I'm so grateful and can not praise this balm enough, I will be spreading the word to other new mums about this product and also inform my GP for future recommendations. Thank you Balmonds!

Aggravated my neck rash. Made it significantly worse almost immediately. A complete waste of money.

My son has suffered from severe eczema since birth. It has been so bad at times that he has been hospitalized due to skin infections caused by broken and thickened skin. We have spent countless nights trying to soothe his itch and pain, and the heartbreak has been immense. We tried everything—from medical treatments to various herbal remedies, even leaving it alone in the hope that his immune system would resolve the issues.

However, this amazing cream has done wonders for his skin. Slowly but surely, the thickened skin has smoothed out and (knock on wood) he hasn’t experienced any skin breakage since we started using it. We've reached a point where we only need to apply it every other day now. While it hasn’t cured the eczema, it has made it much more manageable, and our boy is far more comfortable in his skin. After six months of use, we have no intention of using anything else!

I used the cream on radiation burns on my neck after radio therapy treatment for head and neck cancer. The results were amazing. I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

I don’t have eczema but I found that my skin has started to dry out over the last two to three years so after reading reviews of Balmonds online I purchased a pot of Skin Salvation two months ago. After two months I have noticed a serious improvement in my skin. The mixture will go on quite oily when rubbed in but the skin will soak it in after an hour or two so I usually use it when I’m at home with nowhere to go for an hour or two. The best part of Skin Salvation is it from natural ingredients. I don’t use any other moisturiser bar a cleanser and toner but the difference in my skin from two months ago is definitely noticeable. It helps with large pores too once a cleanser and toner is used before application and fine lines are minimised. It is definitely fantastic value, I’ve used more expensive moisturisers but I have to say Balmonds Skin Salvation is the best product I’ve ever used for my skin. It keeps the skin moisturised and youthful looking. I would absolutely recommend. I hear it’s very good for eczema too but for skin that is drying with age it is fantastic!

This is my favourite balm now I have excema flare ups on my hands and this actually makes a huge difference it is truly amazing I also find it amazing to use for scratches cuts and general skin dryness takes the redness away and helps heal I love this balm highly recommended

I don’t have eczema but I do have sensitive skin. I was attracted to buying the skin salvation because of its’ natural ingredients. I use it mainly on my face and neck- partly because the natural smell of olive oil, that takes a little getting used to but soon fades. The results have been amazing. I have mature skin and my skin looks plump and well moisturised and I have had many comments and questions about what I use to moisturise. I was so pleased with the results I tried the scalp oil. I have very thick, curly hair that can happily take an oil. I know it is for the scalp but my hair looks amazing- shiny and healthy! Thanks Balmonds, you have a customer for life!

No improvement what so ever even though the woman who served me it said it was amazing

I do love the skincare stuffs here because they are really suitable for my damn sensitive skin. However, I still rate 4 star because sometimes I have to wait to get the response from the customer service here

Balmond products have totally changed the quality of my skin I can't quite believe it still. I have very sensitive skin and bad eczema, with flare ups lasting up to a year sometimes, all over my arms and face. I now use balmonds daily moisturiser all over, then the facial oil mixed with the moisturiser on my face and the lip balm, every day (twice for my face) and after a few weeks my skin is perfect, it's never been this healthy for this long. Thank you so much, its taken me decades of finding the right products and I'm so so happy.

This is the same as Egyptian Magic, just dyed green, makes my skin look older. Does nothing for the eczema.

I have had eczema on my leg/foot for over 6 months and tried various steroids and emollients. I bought this product because there were lots of reviews of 'miracle cures'. I decided to give it a fair shot and bought the large size jar (60g) and used the Skin Salvation for a month, taking before and after photos.
Unfortunately there was no difference between the before and the after photos and the 60g only lasted one month.
It is a thick ointment made from natural ingredients which maintained skin with eczema but did not improve it. It was expensive for a product which just maintained the condition. I realise there will be other people who have different experiences to mine.
I personally did not like the smell and due to the thick viscosity of the ointment it stained bed sheets and clothes so I had to wash them at 60 degrees to get it out.
I have gone back to using Aveeno moisturiser and Zerobase emollient which are a more cost effective way of maintaining my skin.

Don't buy from them directly. You'll get spammed to death with "marketing" emails. The first one arrived before the product did, the second one arrived the same day as the product and the third one arrived shortly after I'd emailed them to say I didn't want their emails and I'd never signed up to them in the first place! When I emailed them back to say I didn't want to hear from them again and it had put me off buying their products again, they emailed me back saying I could always "unsubscribe". They had no concept that pestering customers is NOT good sales technique. Why should I have to unsubcribe when I didn't subscribe in the first place? Very amateur attitude to customers. Product is ok (I got the sample set) but not worth the hassle.
