An absolutely BRILLIANT shopping experience. Purchased beautiful beautiful drawers (2 sets) fantastic quality and wonderful customer service. Ready assembled and STUNNING. Couldn’t believe I got them for cheaper than I had priced at IKEA and they’re unique, ready built and stunning. Helped into an uber with them - nothing was too much trouble. Definitely my first port of call next time I need furniture- can’t recommend highly enough.

Balham beds mistakenly sent me the wrong bed and within minutes, they responded and told me it would be resolved without me having to do anything. They not only sent the right bed, but upgraded with bigger draws for the bed.

Popped into Balham beds one Saturday just to look around and see if I could spot something that could interest me. I asked about a certain type of chair. Looked in the catalogue but nothing caught my fancy.

As I looked around my eye fell on something that stopped me in my tracks. I took one look at it and knew that it had to come home with me.
As I was discussing it with Saj my eyes fell upon another piece of furniture. I told Saj that he had to get me more of them because they would be perfect for my home.
Two weeks later I had delivered to my home six perfect chairs and one beautiful study desk for the kids.
EVERYONE loves the desk and the chairs but they don’t love them as much as ME.
I have to say that Balham beds is a place to find hidden treasures. This is my second purchase from them over the years and I must say that it is a great place to have around. It is more than just an ordinary furniture shop.
Every time I have been there whether just to nose around or to purchase something their customer service has been impeccable. The customer service I get on each delivery is next to none.
Saj also has time for his customers which makes one feel valued. What I can say about Saj is that it is not just about him selling to you or you buying but that you are totally satisfied with your purchases. He made sure that I bought not just what I wanted but what I needed too and I am a totally happy customer with a totally happy family because we LOVE our items and Balham beds.

Been happy customer of shop for c.20 yrs. Recently, had a relatively minor issue with an item but one easy to resolve. It has taken 4 visits to try, inc today.

Been left incredulous at the manner in which I was spoken to today by the deeply unpleasant Manager, Saj.

When he realised shop had failed again, he was instantly defensive & argumentative. He arrogantly attempted to consistently talk over me in an highly aggressive manner in attempt to belittle & intimidate me.

I could not imagine him talking to a man in that manner.

Assistant embarrassed & had good grace to apologise for Saj’s behaviour after I said how upsetting & unnecessary this attack was, but Saj wasn’t finished yet & went in for round 2, telling me to get out & never come back (an unlikely scenario after today’s performance anyway but...).

Saj is not fit to hold position. He is ill mannered at best & not in control of his temper at worst.

I am a professional woman who expects courtesy, not to be attacked.

Very nice small company. The customer service was great and they were so helpful. I’ve just moved to my flat and they recommended everything I needed for it. Highly recommend them
