Many reasons to NOT book this tour
Many reasons to NOT book this tour. Here's why.
-The signage to get to their location is terrible. We all waited about 15 minutes outside in front of the sign. We eventually figured out that we had to go in the train station. We had a reservation but nobody came looking for us.
-We booked an English tour which turned out to be mostly in Dutch. The people speaking Dutch got a lot more information than we did. Our guide spoke limited English so we were left with comments such as, "and they declared what they had to declare."
-Our guide never introduced himself, was not wearing anything distinctive to easily spot him, spoke so softly we could barely hear him and didn't share his number in case we lost him or give us any security tips.
-We paid extra for e-bikes which were only half charged which meant we ran out of power after about an hour and a half, which was less than half through the tour.
-Our guide didn't check if his flock was following and eventually we lost somebody. It took almost thirty minutes to find him again. The wife of the man was quite upset.
-We saw several landmarks along the way but we were never able to stop to take pictures. When we asked to have a bit of time to take photos, we were told to do it quickly and move on.
-We booked a tour including waffles and chocolate but were only given a waffle (very delicious, the waffle was the best part of the tour). Although the tour guide said the chocolate would be provided at the end, it wasn't.
If I could , I would have given 0 star, but I had to put one to leave a review. It cost us 86 Euros for two people on e-bikes. It was not even worth half of what we paid.
