We had a surveyor visit after a telephone call saying that the foam insulation we had in our loft was now a serious issue. We agreed to have the work done and went for the foam and fibre glass removal. We were offered to have a thermal blanket installed on the inside of the roof at an extra cost of £1800, but declined. However, when the workmen came and started removing the foam it was found that we had a few tears in the roofing felt. When the firm called us, after the workmen had told them we would like to go ahead with the thermal blanket we were told it would be an extra £2500. We were shocked and asked why it was that amount when we were told at the outset it was £1800. We were told that was a discounted price at the time. As we explained, at the time, we had no idea that these tears existed. After backwards and forwards we were given a price of £2300, basically told take it or leave it.
We were told by the surveyor at the onset of the work that the workmen would put down dust sheets, remove all articles from the loft and replace them when the work was finished, this did not happen at all and whilst they did hoover the hallway at the end of the day there was a lot of mess. They were also meant to remove existing fibreglass insulation before the new insulation was laid, however unless we insisted they do this they were going to lay new on old. When the surveyor came to check the work, he said that the carpeted area of the loft, were we store items, was an absolute mess, which we now have to clean up.

In my experience this company use high pressure selling techniques, have grossly over inflated prices and poor workmanship. Get a second opinion from a reputable and qualified roofing company before committing to these people.

The workers were on time, friendly, polite, helpful and worked extremely hard.
Unfortunately I'm not an expert to judge the quality of their workmanship and value for money.

I was impressed at the speed the work was scheduled to be done and the speed it was completed. The roofers knew what they were doing, made a record for the surveyor, cleaned up any mess made inside as a result of removing the roof and the garden.
Would have the team back anytime I need a roof repair.

From Initial contact they did exactly what they said they would do. from scaffolding to the final clean up. They team started work Monday before eight am, bearing in mind they came from Ringwood 34 miles away.
Roof removed and new membrane fitted, one day delay due to tile delivery issue. New tiles installed they finished late Thursday, it was dark but the said they would return in the morning to check that every thing was OK, they arrived the next day before 7 checked the roof, swept up and made the skip secure. Then carried on to their next jobs, Could not fault them or Bage Roofing Ltd

I did not want to do it. I believed it was OK. Was this another scam? A sample from the site survey changed my thinking.@ some straight talking convinced me - it had to be done. Removing the foam was not easy but carried out to perfection. Fantastic.

From the moment I opened the front door to Jordan to the time he left to drive back to Bournemouth from me in Portsmouth he didn't stop not even for a cuppa. He kept me updated and from his video of my loft he has done a great job. I hope you got home safely and managed to enjoy a well earned bevy. In fact the only minor downside is he's a Liverpool supporter.

Great service by skilled workers. Informed of every process as the project progressed.

The workers worked hard but were very untidy, taking little care. They lacked supervision and communication was difficult as their English was rudimentary. The office didn't always communicate either so didn't always know when work was happening.
