Avoid at all costs (£500!)

Called them to fix my boiler as they were local and able to come at short notice. They seemed friendly enough but were initially perplexed and couldn't figure out what was wrong - they even had to call a friend to come and look at the boiler. This should have been the warning sign. Then they claimed to have fixed the boiler in March. It wasn't fixed. Messaged him about it and he said he'd come by but...never heard back again. Would not recommend. Cost me £508 for nothing. Going to ask for a refund as three months later and the boiler still doesn't work and will have to get someone else out to look at it.

To trust or not to trust

This company was hired to replace the boiler at my former rental property. They replaced the boiler, but couldn’t commission it on the day as I had no gas supply due to problems with the gas card. They turned up unannounced when I was out and were supposedly let into the house by a mystery man dressed in black, which was the only description they could give and then by ‘accident’ my name was signed in the box on the gas safety certificate ( I had no gas supply remember!).
I’ll let you make up your own mind as to whether this company can be trusted or not especially as Gas Safe stated that their work didn’t comply with current building regulations, which is obviously something they should be fully upto date with given the frequency with which these change.
According to the estate agent they never even informed them that the job was incomplete and that they would have to return at a later date.
