Initially I was looking for a quote for insurance to race motorbikes abroad. I was recommended this via someone else in the racing paddock and decided to check it out.
The site was exceptionally buggy from the outset using a mobile device, however it is all I had access to at the time. Further information pages would just lock up the page requiring you to start the whole quote again. When choosing the package it seems I failed to tick a certain box which allowed the insurance to cover competition riding which I required as I’m racing. I believe this box was not visible to me at the time or perhaps I had just failed to realise I required it up until this point, I’ve never had to do this sort of quotation before.
However my actual complaint is that despite explaining that I had a problem with the quote, nothing at all could be done for me. I couldn’t even retrospectively add on competition despite it being weeks until the actual race.
Just poor service, entirely wasted money now as I’m not doing another full quote through this company. I’ll not use them again in the future and as I was recommended then via people in the paddock, I will ensure to recommend people to avoid this company and provide better alternatives once I find my next choice.

When purchasing insurance, it is essential to ensure that the selected coverage corresponds to the intended activity, particularly when participating in motorbike competitions, which require specific cover.
As an insurance broker, AxeoSport is bound by the applicable provisions of the French Insurance Code and the terms and conditions of the insurance contract. These rules apply equally to all our customers and cannot simply be disregarded on an individual basis.
In your case, your request to cancel the policy was made after the applicable withdrawal period had expired. We therefore could not agree to your request under the contractual conditions.
We understand that this outcome is disappointing. However, being unable to grant a request that falls outside the contractual framework should not be confused with a lack of customer service.
We respect your right to share your experience, but we also believe it is important for future customers to understand that insurance contracts are governed by specific rules that both parties must respect.
