I purchased the Avid Armor Jumbo 30 Plus through Amazon in 2023 to help supplement my old FoodSaver unit. Online reviews were great and I wanted a high quality unit that would last and help seal everything for my large family. I paid $275 for this unit. Recently a plastic clip on the side broke rendering the unit unusable which is fine I understand the warranty was 1 year so I was fully expecting to need to pay for the parts. However I came to find out this particular unit apparently was NOT an avid armor product but was made by another manufacturer. I tried contacting this other company and they don't answer emails or calls. When I spoke with Brooklyn at Avid Armor she said they don't have parts, can't obtain them and offered a lesser unit for $140!!! They want me to pay them even more money for a lower end product. That's what you get when you buy Avid Armor. Oh and she also was kind enough to add she hopes I have a nice holiday after that.....
