The training I had at Edinburgh is topnotch, trainer demonstrated good knowledge of PMVA both in theory and practicals. Trainer has excellent teaching skills,friendly, topics are well organised and delivered in a safe environment .

The training was excellent, very informative, and the tutor was highly knowledgeable.

The PMVA session was very informative and well delivered. The trainer explained the techniques clearly and made sure everyone understood the importance of safety and de-escalation. The practical exercises were helpful and increased my confidence in managing challenging situations. I found the session engaging, interactive, and relevant to my role. Overall, it was a very valuable training experience.

All three days the trainers were late, myself and other learners had to keep setting the room up. The trainer also only showed videos instead of showing the practical on others and shouted at learners when they made a mistake. After paying for two additional certificates the training team advised me that I would have it on the Friday after the course however after chasing the certificates they asked for proof of payment which was completed on the course. The communication is poor before and after the course. I will definitely be using another provider for the refresher.

I’m very disappointed with Avalon Care Training. I made a simple booking error (Leeds instead of London) and reached out several times via email and phone call, but received no meaningful response or assistance.

Any reputable training provider would have helped reschedule or offered at least partial flexibility. Instead, Avalon Care Training ignored me entirely and refused to resolve the issue or refund me.
This experience shows a serious lack of professionalism and customer care.

The trainers are very good and made the training easy to grasp.
I'm highly privileged to have done the training under their watch.
