Do not use this scam company - Awful!!
Appalling company. Do not use them. The staff and engineers are really rude and incompetent. I ordered a hob and have had nothing but with problems with it. This company have been to repair via the cooker company and still keeps breaking. So difficult to deal with, all
the staff are arrogant and rude when you call up. They turn up at your house at any time they want whether convenient or not and expect you to jump at the chance for them to visit. From reading other reviews similar problems and also they turn up pretending to need parts to get double the fee I imagine. I will never be dealing with these clowns again and have contacted the cooker company regarding their multiple visit scam they have going. AVOID!!!!!!
inadequate communication
I insured my appliances through Domestic & General, and my repair was forwarded to AutoWash. It took five days just to secure the initial appointment. When the engineer eventually attended, I was informed that a new power cord was required for the tumble dryer and that it would be ordered and replaced.
However, I was not advised that I needed to contact AutoWash myself to book a follow-up appointment. I therefore waited again , assuming they would contact me once the replacement part arrived. As no update was provided, I contacted AutoWash again, only to be told that the next available appointment was a further seven days away, which is completely unreasonable.
I am extremely disappointed that Domestic & General continues to use repair companies that clearly do not have sufficient engineering capacity to support customers. If a relatively simple repair takes weeks to complete, it significantly undermines the value of having appliance cover—especially for appliances that are used daily.

Many promises to refund for goods/services not provided ..we have seen Halloween, Remembrance Sunday and are looking forward to Christmas and still no refund! They won't even send an email to confirm they will refund. Don't bother, use another small local company that cares. Ongoing! Will update this review in the New Year.

Would rate zero stars if I could! Absolutely terrible. Ryley came out to fix the heating fan on my washer dryer. He instead broke my full machine. Instead of correcting the issue caused by their engineer they wanted me to wait weeks before fitting me in. Promised several times that I would receive call backs and they would reschedule for sooner however the only time I received a call back was once the job had been removed from them and placed with another company. Try to lodge a formal complaint and their complaints team are just as ignorant as the rest of their staff!

John, the engineer, arrived within the allocated slot time. He was polite and friendly; identified the problem quickly and was able to provide the necessary part and complete the repair immediately. He was thorough and tidy ensuring everything was checked and cleared up once he had finished.
The only downside was that my original appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for 5 days later leaving us without a washing machine for that period.
Very bad experience
A visit from the engineer to assess the need to replace parts was followed by … nothing . I paid the initial sum £75 for the consultation and contacted the company 3 times regarding the timeframe. Nothing at all . 3.5 months later I still haven’t got a clue if anything has been ordered . Extremely unhelpful and the company has an “ internal “ complaint process which means nobody is available to hear your grievances. Avoid them . I’m not even sure if this is a real operation or some form of conmanshhip
LG washer/dryer repair
John arrived within the time frame and efficiently repaired my machine. He took time to check for other possible issues. He showed me how to remove and replace the filter in the machine properly. He was polite and spent time answering my questions.

Totally Professional Service
Henry arrived as arranged and worked solidly for nearly 8 hours to achieve an absolute brilliant finish to my car, I am quite fussy about my car and Henry exceeded all my expectations. All I can say is the Patrick in the Office and Henry were Totally professional and Polite I would recommend to anyone.
Excellent service from Luke
In this hot weather I decided that a Ninja Slushi was an absolute must! After finding them out of stock I contact Luke at Autowash who said he would let me know as soon as they became available again. Only a week or so later he called, ordered me one and it arrived on the hottest day of the year so far. Excellent service from Luke.

Great service from Auto-Wash Ltd …
Would highly recommend Auto-Wash Ltd in terms of service, tidiness and promptness. Steve the Engineer was polite, pleasant and thorough in diagnosing the fault our washing machine leaking. Once the part was in from order, Steve returned and very swiftly replaced the part, tested it and left it in working order.

Went through Donestic & General, so a bit long winded to get engineer to call. However, once Autowash got the job they did groundwork before visit and engineer repaired machine on day.
