Nice touch: When I returned the car, i got a ride to the office from the guy verifying the car was ok. I could store my bags there for a few hours, so I could walk a bit through Turin.

One more detail for Turin: make sure you check the entry of the parking garage to return the car BEFORE you pick up the car. You can thank me afterwards for this tip.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CROOKS. I rented a car from Autovia in Turin in August 2026. When checking the car I identified two marks of pre-existing damage which were marked on the contract and i took photos. I signed the contract but the Autovia employee seemingly forgot to sign herself. I was not even aware there was box where Autovia had to sign. When i returned the car a week or so later they refused to accept the contract as valid evidence of the pre-existing marks because their own employee had not signed it! Extraordinary. They then send me an invoice for more than £600 which I immediately dispute and send them a copy of the contract plus photos and a full explanation. After a month without any reply to my email they then deduct the charge out of my credit card deposit. I immediately contact them again. Still no reply. I try calling their Customer Service and spend hours listening to music waiting to get through. I am now having to pursue this in the Italian courts and you can imagine how straightforward that will be. Just never use this company, this all felt like a deliberate scam to not sign the contract then effectively steal money from me. Disgraceful.

WARNING - THEY TRY TO SCAM YOU CLAIMING FALSE DAMAGE FOR PREEXISTING DAMAGES. I have made a google review too, where pictures of the alleged damage and communication with the company can be seen.
We are from Copenhagen Denmark and visited Piemonte Region i aug/sep 2026. We rented a car with Ecovia/Autovia through Discovercars.com. Everything seemed to work fine and we had no issues with the car. We were happy with the rental until return. When we returned the car at 18:30, unfortunately no one was there to take it in even though it stated they close at 19:00. So we had to drop the keys in the key box and trust they did a proper return inspection the following day without us being present. Unfortunately this is where it all went down wrong. Not only did they try to charge us for existing damage, but they also failed to list damage we had pointed out on pick up of the car - who knows if they will try to make subsequent customers responsible for this damage? I have uploaded pictures of the alleged new damage compared to video footage of the car on pick up. Fortunately I made a comprehensive video on pick up, otherwise I would be stuck with a bill for some scratches on one of the wheel rims. I have contacted customer care many days ago, but they still haven't replied me and they have tried charging me money on my credit card. I have spent hours and hours having to go through video, writing mails to customer care, contacting my credit card company to make them hold the amount they are trying to withdraw and uploading all sorts of evidence. If you are looking for a good car rental company, then stay completely away from this one. They try to scam you and you will regret it

Martin was very honest and helpful, something very rare in car rental companies staff, this make me feel confident to use this service because no hidden fees neither fine print on the contract to be aware of. Also the car was in perfect condition.
