Great counter person, explained everything amd was courteous.

I use their services from years, every year they confirm to be nice people, helpful and fast at check in and check out. Also, generally they are one of the cheapest, that make the choice even easier.

Picked the car up at Lamezia airport, Italy.
Process was easy & fairly quick , staff very good & explained the whole process well.
Having hired through other car rentals at the airport what I did like about autovia was the fact that as I had taken out the extra insurance through Rentalcars there was no hard sell with their extra insurances.
Once staff had seen the fact I had insurance they just said 'good' & moved on, no doom or gloom stories of what you could expect to pay if the 'what if' happens!!
Damage on the car was clear on the paperwork, the car was clean & tidy with a full tank.
When I returned the car, there was a queue & staff could see me so they quickly dealt with me.
I will use them again & would recommend them from my own experience...

I forgot an adapter for my mobile phone. But they could not find it.

Everything went wrong, so this is the last time renting a car with this awful company and his unwilling and not understanding employees.

Because flight was late us was told we were too late for the rent category. Of course only the more expansive one was available. In addition to that, we had to pay one day more because of another strange reason…..by the way: the parking place was full of empty cars…..

We were staying around one
hour until we could leave. The whole process was handled by paper….

Everything was great, the car, the staff. Also the price for a weekly rental.

The car collecting and returning procedure was quick and simple. The car was quite new and comfortable. I can confidently recommend Autovia in Lamazia Terme to other travelers.

Suddenly, the car was reserved at different airport 120km away in Italy, Regio.
Upon arrival to Lamezia the pricing was changed to +150% of original prepaid price. Travel south to Regio di Callabria with kids to pick up the car? Forget it. Complains do not work out.

Actually the car was paid twice.
The car was pre-ordered and paid on April 16. through Booking.com. It was Not reimbursed.
Then we rented and paid car in Lamezia Terme on May 2023, on the spot. Everything is clear. There are flight numbers in the orders. We are not responsible for system glitches.

Booking.com was contacted multiple times with completely dead 24/7 Customer Service - ringing, or "Nobody is able to answer your call", or they hang up. Simple as that.

Somebody very close has exactly the same experience.

Prompt, polite service. Car as promised and in good condition, return arrangements smooth, no hassle over damage. They operate a policy that if you make a scratch the same size on the same panel, you will not be liable. Accepted that we had our own excess insurance and there was no hard sell of their own policy. Rep spoke very good English and explained everything very clearly.
Overall a very good experience

Very friendly Autovia staff at Lamezia airport (complete contrast to the staff at the airport itself). Quick and easy and no attempt to extort extra money like so many other car hire companies. Will definitely use again.

I went to Italy and rented my car from Autovia and the experience was great. It was my first time rented from there and I was impressed with the new car I received and the help I got at the window in LaMezia Terme in Calabria. I will definitely rent from them again. They also had the best price for the two weeks I was there.
