Paid €340 never received my order
I placed an order and paid €340.
Four days later, there was still no shipment confirmation, so I contacted the seller. I was told the order was “being prepared.”
Almost two weeks later, the product still had not arrived. I contacted the seller again and was told the package was “on its way,” still without any tracking details.
Several days after that, and only after explicitly requesting it, I finally received tracking information. The tracking showed that the parcel had already been delivered to a pickup point without any notification to me, where it had been sitting for days.
Because I was never informed, the parcel was automatically returned to the sender. I never received the product.
When I requested a refund, the seller tried to shift responsibility by instructing me to contact the courier myself. This is unreasonable. I am not the contracting party of the shipment. The delivery agreement exists between the seller and the courier, not with me as the customer.
Despite the product never being delivered and being returned to the seller, no refund was issued. Communication eventually stopped completely.
Important note for other customers: do not be misled by the professional appearance of the website. While the site operates under the Dutch domain autonav.nl, the payment was processed by Car Stereos Europe Limited, a company based in Manchester (UK). My experience did not match the expectations created by the website.
Outcome: after weeks of waiting, I paid €340, received nothing, and have to try to recover my money myself. Based on my experience, I strongly advise caution when ordering from this seller.
