Great service
I have been searching for a rental car for a 4 week roadtrip in California. I have contacted several of the well known rental Companys online and at Facebook. Alamo have by far been the Company with the fastest, most polite and informative answers and all that with a competitive price - thank's for that! I just booked a 30 day rental from Alamo at LAX.

DON'T USE AUTOEUROPE
DON'T USE AUTOEUROPE - YOU WILL REGRET IF YOU DO
I booked a car for our holiday and a few days later received a Confirmation. At the same date they withdraw the full payment on my credit card.
2 weeks before we are to go on holiday I receive an email saying, that they have cancelled the reservation!
Actually they are telling me, that due to an error the car rental was never confirmed by AVIS and it was an error that I have received the confirmation.
When visiting AVIS homepage I can see that the car is available but the price is now double up.
AUTOEUROPE is not willing to give any help. When informing them that my right is to have the car that I have booked since it actually is available - and it is their problem that the prices meanwhile has increased - they just ended the telephone conversation. My last two email they have refused to answer.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.....they are absolutely worthless
