First complaint about a damaged product
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchases from AutoDoc. I have made several purchases for various cars over the years.
Recently, the quality of the packaging for shipping products has deteriorated somewhat, which is why I have made my first complaint about a damaged product after all this time. The complaint was resolved quickly and amicably with good and proper business communication, thank you Ms. Joanna.
There is also often doubt about the suitability of a spare part for a particular vehicle. This is sometimes more or less successfully resolved with the VIN number, but it is still no guarantee. Perhaps more needs to be done here, and descriptions and correct dimensions for all products would also be welcome.

Your response does not accurately reflect what happened in this case.
First, the issue was not simply that the part did not fit the car. The main problem has been the handling of the return process, which has taken more than three months without a proper resolution.
Order number: 152832888
You confirmed that the package would be collected from my address, and two specific pickup dates were arranged: 08.01.2026 and 20.01.2026. On both occasions I stayed available the entire day (08:00–18:00) as required. No courier arrived on either date and no explanation was provided.
Throughout the process I have received different and contradictory instructions from different representatives. Each time I followed the instructions, new requirements appeared. This clearly indicates a lack of internal coordination.
You also state that customs tried to contact me and that I am responsible for customs documentation. This is misleading. The return was initiated by AUTODOC and the original problem occurred because the return shipment lacked the correct digital customs declaration, something that was never clearly communicated in advance.
More recently I was asked to contact the post office myself to obtain shipping prices. After more than three months of delays, failed pickups, and constantly changing instructions, it is not reasonable to expect the customer to coordinate logistics between AUTODOC, the carrier, and customs.
I have followed all instructions given and cooperated fully during the entire process. My review reflects the actual experience of the return process and the repeated failures to execute agreed solutions.
For transparency, I have also submitted / will submit the case to the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) with full documentation of the correspondence.
This review is therefore not misleading — it accurately reflects my experience as a customer.

The thing is, the search on the site does not guarantee 100% compatibility with your car, especially if not all necessary car data was specified when selecting through the selector (for example, exact model, year of manufacture, engine type, and other characteristics; the required part may be produced in different modifications — therefore, there is a possibility that the part you purchased will differ from the one installed in your car. To avoid such situations in the future, you can entrust our experts to check the compatibility of the part with your car using the VIN number . You received instructions on how to return your order. As the sender, you are responsible for providing all required customs documents. Customs has attempted to contact you. You initiated the return, and by law, you are the only one responsible for providing all the information to customs. That's how the law works, and we adhere to it. We have done everything possible, including, as an exception, collecting the parts at the store's expense. Unfortunately, we have no control over the courier's performance. You can file a complaint with the courier service. We have also refunded the full amount for the order. Furthermore, we believe your review is unfair and misleading. I received a part that was damaged
I received a part that was damaged, likely during shipping and delivery, so I contacted customer support. I received a response immediately. I was offered compensation if the spare part was repairable. Since the spare part was not repairable, I was offered a full refund or get a new part. I chose the new part. I would like to thank Avtodoc for their excellent cooperation and customer service.
