While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Whilst Autocad Lt works well, paying for the following year has been nothing but unsuccessful. Autodesk Support can't be described as helpful. After 45 min of web chat my problem was not sorted. I simply wanted to change my card details, but my address 'can not be validated'. I'm no further on after filling in a form to change my address (which doesn't have enough lines for an irish address, plus I haven't move in the last 26yrs!) and a further 3 phone calls, 4 if you include the rude person who answered the phone at the Dublin office.
As it stand, my subscription will expire whilst I'm away and I assume that setting up a new account can't possibly be worse than the position I'm in at the moment.
I renewed my 1 month Autocad subscription on the 19th of July and they apparently decided they would make it expire on the 29th of July (I received an email about it on the 22nd of July warning that I was about to loose my access on the 29th) because apparently one time I had renewed it on the 30th of a month so apparently that became my renewal date even though they had revoked my access until I renewed my subscription on the 19th of July, so surely that should automatically become my new renewal date?
Apparently not, so I paid 1 month subscription and will get 10 days. I contacted an agent and he told me I should contact my bank to get a refund because they could not refund direct debits. I had to explain to him thats not how banks work you dont just call your bank and ask for random refunds, the money is now in THEIR account so THEY need to send it back. He told me he couldn't do that or extend my expiry date and was unable to offer any no solution.
stop forcing those dumb login codes and two step verification.
Free trial link for Autocad LT doesn't work just keeps timing out / no available and no customer support option working either!
I don't know why you have so many bad reviews. Sure the customer services of your is bad but you have great products. I think a 4 is fine.
Recently the industry has moved towards Autodesk's product C3D, and away from traditional software Bentley's MX.
C3D is riddled with bugs that make even basic tasks unpleasant, frustrating and inefficient.
Thanks Autodesk for your crappy attempt that has worked its way into the industry.
