The company gave us good support and service. The rental of the car went easy and fast. It was also cheap (48 euro for 1 week, Seat Ibiza). A fine car with 28000 km, no troubles, frugal and enough comfortable and space for 1 or two suitcases in the trunk.

I honestly think this is the worst car…

I honestly think this is the worst car rental company I’ve ever used. Their whole business model seems geared towards trying to keep your deposit.

Within 30 seconds of inspecting the car, the employee, Eufa, pointed to a small white chalk mark on the handle, which I literally rubbed off with my finger, and said it would be a €200 charge. She then added a further €370 charge for a few light marks that could easily have been polished out and were caused by brushing against a plant where I had to park.

What made it even worse was the attitude. She was incredibly rude and seemed to take pleasure in telling me, “that’s what happens when you don’t take out full cover”, despite the fact we had already purchased full cover through Booking.com. Now I’m left having to waste time claiming the money back through a third party, which I honestly do not have time for.

I rarely complain, but this genuinely felt like part of a deliberate strategy to squeeze extra money out of customers. I’ve hired probably 50 cars in my lifetime and I’ve never had a more frustrating or unpleasant experience than this.

Scamming

People, please be aware ⛔️
ClickRent only wants to make money from insurance or by scamming the deposit on your credit card. I was scammed for €820.

A service like this is unacceptable. I do not recommend it.

On September 1, 2025, I made a payment of €132.85 for a car rental scheduled from October 20 to October 26, 2025. From the very beginning, the experience was extremely negative: the first car I was given was in terrible condition, practically unusable, and I was even asked to bring it back for a repair. When the staff realized that the vehicle was not roadworthy, they provided me with a replacement car (CXXXXXXXXX), assuring me that I would not be charged anything.

Even though I offered to pay for the missing fuel from the first car — an option I wasn’t even allowed to complete — I was told that “everything was fine” when I returned the replacement vehicle. I returned it on time, with a full tank, and no issues were reported during the drop-off. On October 26, I also received an email confirming that the deposit had been released.

However, a few days later, I discovered an unexplained €179 charge on my credit card.
I find this behavior dishonest and improper, especially since I have acted transparently at all times. I also want to point out that I have all the emails and evidence showing that their version of events does not match reality.

Additionally:
1. I sent several emails without receiving any response, and they only bothered to reply after the bank dispute was opened.
2. I will publish all the evidence to inform other customers about what happened.
3. Since I am clearly the injured party, I have appointed my lawyer to handle the matter on my behalf.

A service like this is unacceptable. I do not recommend it.

Worst company

We rented a car from ClickRent in Málaga and were extremely disappointed with the experience. Upon returning the vehicle, the staff claimed we had damaged the side mirror – even though the car was parked in a private garage for most of our rental period and no such damage occurred.

We were four people (two adults and two teenager), all of whom can confirm that there was no damage during the time we had the car. Despite this, we were pressured to pay €1,200 for the alleged damage. After protest, they reduced the amount to €100 – which strongly suggests this is more about collecting money than covering real costs.

The situation felt unfair and stressful, and we believe this is a tactic they may use regularly with tourists. We highly recommend taking detailed photos of the vehicle at pick-up and drop-off – and consider booking with a more trustworthy company.

Definitely would not rent here again

Absolute scam - avoid this company!

Avoid this company! They will scam you. I dropped off a car and the check-in person had to walk around the car twice before finding a tiny scratch almost on the underside of the car (if you squint, you might be able to see it in my picture). He charged me 420 euros for it! I took a video of the car when I picked it up, but I didn't get on my hands and knees to record the underside of the car, so I can't prove it wasn't there before. Another couple on the courtesy shuttle had just dealt with something similar.

We've rented from several other companies in Spain like MalagaCar without issue. If you do go with this company, get their insurance and photograph EVERY part of the car, including underneath. I will never rent from ClickRent again - such a scam!

Beware and document carefully

Beware and document rental car extremely thoroughly before drivning out if not signing up on their own insurance. Make sure car is parked without reflections or others that might affect the clarity of your video. My rental car had around 25 - 30 dents and I as driver need to document ALL clearly as proof. I missed one dent in the video and was charged 385 EUR for not being able to show this in my video. It was hard to capture all dents as there were so many. Beware and document extremely carefully for your own protection!

Rented a car in Italy with completely full insurance and used emergency road assistance as was stack.

The service should be fully covered by insurance as stated in terms and conditions of the company. I provided all receipts and explanation.

My case was escalated to management in february and it is almost 6 months they are ignoring me by phone and by email.

They doesn't reply to my emails and always asking to wait by phone calls.

Unrealiable company.

Autoclick Las Palmas Gran Canaria

Booked the car for 3 days from Las Palmas Airport. As you arrive you need to phone them so they can pick you up. As you phone them, you'll find out that they don't speak English and beside my Spanish was ok, It was quite hard to understand them. Waiting time according to the m was 20 minutes. It took them 1h 30 to reach the meeting point. No reason or apology was provided. The car was brand new and i returned it without any scratch. They insisted that i was late even though my booking on rentalcars.com says different so after a long discussion they told I could go. I reached home and after checking my bank statement I found out that they charged me 25 euros extra without my consent. To give you an idea the cost of the car rental was 40 euros. It is a legalized SCAM. never again

We had a very poor experience with…customer service and insurance coverage.

We had a very poor experience with Discover Car Hire and their partner, AutoClick in Mallorca, Spain. We elected full insurance coverage through Discover Car Hire and were charged for it by them and then were again mis-led to select full coverage by AutoClick when we picked up the car. We were charged for insurance twice and were not given any explanation as to why we were even offered additional insurance by AutoClick when we had booked online with Discover Car Hire (you'd think they would have informed AutoClick that we were already covered). AutoClick's contract was provided to us in Spanish and therefore we didn't understand all that we were being led to sign. Additionally, the customer experience we had at AutoClick's rental office in Mallorca was far less than ideal ... the man at the service desk scolded us for missing the shuttle at the airport (even though our flight was delayed 2+ hours...and we had to pay for a taxi to get there), talked down to us, and wouldn't let us leave through the main door because it was "too windy" for him. Neither company offered any satisfaction or resolution after the fact. I will not book with Discover Car Hire or AutoClick ever again.

We rented a 4 x 4 from Barcelona airport. The shuttle to take us to the hire building was waiting for us when we arrived. The staff were friendly, however being charged extra for driving the vehicle to Andorra and getting charged over 1000 euros deposit was a little annoying. We had no issues with the car whilst using it and got the deposit back within the next day or so of returning. Having had trouble with Sixt on every occasion (3 times) at Barcelona airport, we were apprehensive about using Autoclick, but it was refreshing to have no issues

I rented a car from Autoclick for third time in December 2017 at Alicante airport. We waited for 10ish minutes at the airport for the bus shuttle and went to their office for 3 minutes. The car was in almost perfect condition (10 000 km). We returned the card, they checked it and there was not claims and unblocked the money on the next working day.
HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION !!!

Appalling

Appalling. I and 4 friends hired a car via Car del Mar from Autoclick at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. The information to find their office on the Car del Mar voucher was utterly inadequate and even airport information didn't know where they were. We asked then in desperation after going to the car hire offices in Terminal 3 and then traipsing through 2 terminals - CDG is enormous. They also tried to phone (4 times) and the phones just cut off after 3 rings. Eventually the 3rd information assistant we spoke to googled Autoclick and found it was offsite. This was not mentioned on the voucher and if it had been, we would've cancelled as one of us has a bad hip. As we still had no idea how to get there, we took a taxi to the offices google address in the hope it was right. That cost us €40. It was in the town of Les Mesnil Amelot so not at CDG at all.

We got there an hour late. No- one had tried to contact us as is usual. There were no phones ringing and none visible on any of the desks. We still had to face a queue as there was only one person serving who told us there was a shuttle after all, but it was unfindable even by airport information! We had a wait of over 20 minutes even after doing the paperwork. While waiting for our car, we saw that a couple who received their car had to have windscreen fluid filled before they could leave. It hadn't been done. When we got our car, I switched it on only to find the oil warning light come on. We had to wait to get that dealt with too thereby further delaying us so that we were 2 hours late leaving and just in time to catch Paris weekend traffic rush which we had planned to be ahead of. We also were running late to pick up keys to our accommodation which added to the stress levels.

More importantly though was the fact that the cars were clearly not adequately serviced. If they missed things like warning lights, what other safety issues might they have overlooked?

The car had clearly been through the mill with lots of scratches and dents. We took lots of photos both at pickup and drop off. We found rubbish under the seats.

On returning the car, we again had a long wait for both paperwork and for, lo and behold, the mythical shuttle!!! The wait was so long that we were worried about missing our flight. However a final insult remained in store. We asked to be taken to Terminal 2A but the driver refused and dropped us off at Terminal 2F which was a 15 minute walk away with baggage which further added to our concerns about missing our flight. We were the only people in the shuttle so there was no good reason not to take us there.

We complained at both pickup and dropoff but we're told we'd have to go to Car del Mar and no note was taken. Clearly Autoclick isn't interested in repeat custom.

Worst car hire company I have ever used. Avoid using this company at all costs!

If I could give them no stars I would. Under no circumstances use this company, if you wish to avoid nasty surprises on your credit card bill. Alicante Airport branch, a bunch of crooks. Fraudulent behaviour by their staff in finding 'damage' that wasn't there, and charging for late return when their own invoice shows that the vehicle was actually returned early. Specifically targeting frequent travellers like myself who have the good sense to take out their own yearly insurance to cover excess charges, rather than take out their additional (overpriced) excess insurance. You have been warned!

Don't go there

Don't go there, they are SCAM ARTISITS, cheats and are very rude!!. I booked my car to pick up from Faro airport in August 2017. These guys did not mention in advance that they don't take Amex, also, they did mentioned that they did not take cash. Only because i had to use a debit card, they forced me to buy their own excess insurance (17€/day) when my car cost was only (8€/day).

The guy at pick up office said that you paid so much because you wanted the car! We don't force customers to pay!

When we returned the car, they did not give a proper deposit return receipt. When we complained about it, a short obese lady starts swearing us and said "oh because you are the custom, you are always right, f off".
