Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the products, noting that items often did not match the descriptions or images advertised, particularly regarding material quality and design. Customers frequently reported issues with the quality of items, finding them to be cheaply made and not durable. The refund process was also a major point of frustration, with many struggling to obtain their money back or facing significant obstacles like costly international returns. Reviewers also expressed dissatisfaction with the return policy, which often required customers to send items back to China at their own expense, making returns impractical. Additionally, the pricing was a concern, as many felt the cost was disproportionate to the low quality of the products received. However, some customers did report positive experiences with receiving a refund, with a few mentioning that the process was quicker than expected or that they received a partial or full refund through other means. A small number of people also found certain items, like a dress, to be nice with good sizing and color, or shoes to be comfortable despite other issues.

This company can improve by telling the truth…

This company can improve by telling the truth, by supplying goods which accurately reflect the products advertised on a site which misrepresents the place of origin. These products are made of cheap polyester fabric poorly printed, completely unlike the vibrant prints on lovely, good quality linen or linen like fabric.
My advice to anyone thinking of purchasing is,DON'T.
Getting a refund is made virtually impossible. If it looks too good to be true, it most certainly is.
Fraudsters.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

This company presents themselves as an expensive orthopaedic shoe company. Displaying prices of $240 reduced to $69.
Upon delivery, the shoes were not boxed and came in a basic postal bag. The shoes are clearly very cheap with low quality plastic materials. One set of shoes were 2 sizes too big despite me ordering the same size for both. The company will only offer a refund if you pay for and organise a return. Also, despite the name, they are NOT Australian.
Absolute rip off and a scam.

Dudded and haven’t received.

I bought on Instagram thinking they were genuine Sketches shoes. As they hadn’t arrived in a couple of weeks, I checked shop site and found they were in transit from China. So I checked the reviews and I wish I hadn’t purchased them. They are still in transit SA. So will just have them wait and see what sort of quality they are. I will notify Sketches that they are being copied.

If there was a zero I’d give that

If there was a zero I’d give that. Huge scam and wish I hadn’t been in a hurry when I ordered and took time to look at online reviews. I no longer do online shopping now after this experience. They don’t send same package as the photos, it’s a very cheap version and looks different. Also it’s NOT an Aussie company even when website shows Sydney as base. They aren’t under Aust laws and make you pay (at an often way higher cost than the product to send it back for a refund). So there’s no point sending the crappy product back. They need to be taken out of business!!

They are liars and thieve

They are LIARS and THIEVE

If I could put a zero I would!!!
I bought shoes from this website. It had good discount on and their advertized it was because the store in Sydney was clausing down. The two co-owners were retiring.
I love the shoes call Margaret Elegent Leather from their website. The shoes took way too long to arrive from Sydney! When I checked the traking they were coming from US!!!!!
When I finally received the shoes I knew straight away they were grap! The shoes were posted it in plastic bag. Not how you treat leather! And the smell was pure plastic not leather! the stitches horrible. Not confortable. Worse shoes ever!

I was already thinking of leaving them a bad review (which I never do!) but when the shoes took months to return to CHINA (Yes, the return adress was China!) and the shoes actually ended up coming back to me because the parcel has never been collected from Aussie Wear! I knew convince I will leave them a bad review! Because 'their policy" is they refund the customer when the shoes are sent back and received to them. But because they don't collect the return items from the customers, they don't have to refund them because of their policy. How convenient! They didn't even want to refund the cost of the sent back!
They are a the biggest scam ever!

Don't buy them

There's nothing Aussie about this company my shoes came from China and took forever to get here. They've been closing down for months now. I purchased a pair of Kelsey Women's Orthopaedic shoes and they are the worst shoes I've ever had. There's nothing orthopaedic about them they're flat and that thin it looks like they could tear easily. They mark incredibly easy and the mark is there to stay. I've worn them twice and never again. Very disappointed I wish I had looked at the reviews first

Unfortunately i saw the ad on fb

Unfortunately i saw the ad on fb, because i suffer with plantar fasciitis i thought these would be great for me. I ordered 2 pairs and paid for them, i then just happen to read the reviews and saw all the negative reviews, i then sent a message to them and requested that my order be cancelled and my money refunded. It took me several emails to get a refund ,finally my refund has come through less $4.00. Facebook should stop this company from popping up in their ads, it is clear that the company is not Australian and what you are purchasing is cheaper rubbish from china -shame on you who ever you are - don’t forget Karma is a b….wait for that bus to come around the corner to hit you

Ordered a Sandy Biege dress

Ordered a Sandy Biege dress, the one I received was pink. I sent them a photo of it and the one on the website. They said it can look a bit pink in certain light. No it's pink all the time. Quality was also poor. Never again.

Orthopedic Slip-On Shoes

I purchased 2 pairs of their Orthopedic Slip-On Shoes which they market as a brand similar to Sketchers shoes. I purchased thinking I was supporting an Australian company. Sadly shoes shipped from China and the sizing is so small they will fit my 8 year old granddaughter (I ordered size 11) and they are basically plastic crap. I emailed them immediately and didn’t hear back so put a claim through PayPal. Aussie-Wear did eventually get back to me on my personal email and offered me a 30%. Refund but through PayPal offered me a 50% refund. I accepted the 50% refund and then heard nothing back from them. I then escalated my complaint through PayPal explaining everything about the 2 different amounts they promised to refund. Today I’ve received a full refund from PayPal to which I am extremely grateful.

AUSSIE WEAR

AUSSIE WEAR - such an unethical company- I have had no success in the processing of my claim for items I have send back to their Sydney despatch address. They demand return to China address which was not made apparent in advertising. This has been outstanding over 3 month.
