I bought a replacement battery for a Lenovo T61 Thinkpad from Aussie Battery on eBay. This was advertised as a new 4 cell batt - not Lenovo original though.
Arrived quickly, but even after discharge cycling (up to 5 cycles are recommended by Aussie Battery to reach optimum capacity) it was only capable of 1h 5m support time. Disappointing, considering my original Lenovo batt could do more than 2.5h for much of its life before it died.
(Lenovo T61 type 7663, batt 10.4V 2200mAh FRU 42T4552, tested on Balanced power setting, screen dimmed, running MSE Full Scan)
I ordered a TOSHIBA laptop battery. I chose a larger capacity than otiginal.
The battery can't plug in my laptop. So I ask them to replace a newone for.
As I hope, they exchanged a new one for on free.
Great!!
Aussie Battery are very difficult to deal with if you need something that isn't straight forward. I would NOT recommend doing business with them even though their knock off products are cheaper.
Thanks very much for the fast delivery and great product…
Your customer service is A+
Cheers
