This is a scam website - We bought a light from them and they would not provide a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE - I wish we researched first before paying.
I would give -5 if I could. The item arrived damaged and completly different to the item was described online. The seller denied the refund, so I had to go through bank which refused my refund too. So I've left with no money and 3 cheap s**t shelf worth of £2 each....
When received it was damaged, and looks nothing like the T Rex mound in the picture. Considering how much it was, honestly it's shit
Company is based on China - this isn’t apparent on their website and I only found out when the decking came through.
Bulbs have taken ages to arrive and they tried to get me to keep the order although i no longer want it.
They also told me there would be a 15% restocking fee which isn’t mentioned on their website at all!
Avoid at all costs - dodgy company
I can't say if Auprobuy would deliver any goods effectively, because I cancelled my order within two minutes of placing it. The Auprobuy website uses 'dark patterns' to mislead buyers: A fee of £7.95 is added to the basket without any action by the purchaser for extended warranty. In this case for a pillow costing about £30, so quite inappropriate. This fee was visible in the cart and could be turned off, but only if the buyer looks. Secondly, an insurance fee of £2.95 is added to the final bill WITHOUT any purchaser visibility until the transaction has completed. Such insurance only benefits the seller, so the buyer shouldn't be paying for it anyway.
Once I saw this, I emailed to cancel the order and the company responded promptly in a helpful manner, though it took them a while to refund my £41 for a £30 pillow it did come through.
I recently ordered 3 pendant ceiling lights from Auprobuy for a new kitchen. The images looked great on the website and the price for all 3 lights was just under £200, so I placed the order.
I then looked on the internet to see if the lights were sold by other online retailers and found two. One would have charged £390 for the same lights and the other £300. So, I was very pleased to have ordered the lights from Auprobuy.
However, I then saw that Auprobuy had a low scoring on TrustPilot and, reading the reviews I began to worry and had a sickening feeling that I might have been scammed! I thought about trying to cancel the order but the bad reviews implied this would have been a problem. So, I decided to wait and see if the lights arrived or not.
My fears were totally unfounded since, ten days after the order was placed, the lights arrived.
They were packed well and looked exactly as shown on the website.
So, my experience with Auprobuy has been great! The items were perfect and saved me a lot of money if I'd have bought them from another retailer.
I'm really glad that I didn't try and cancel the order after reading the negative reviews on Trustpilot, which from my experience are incorrect.
This is yet another online trader which advertises one product and then sends an inferior similar product at twice the price and then have a no returns policy other than returning the product to China. Why are these traders allowed to continue when the should really be in Court!!! Be warned!!!!
I ordered from them, and after ordering checked the reviews, which then had me paranoid. I ordered 5th September and my order arrived today (12th September). It was as described and well packaged. I checked a few other sites and perhaps it's on the high side of the pricing, but not by much. I can't fault them though, my item arrived at my door in UK exactly 1 week after ordering.
I know there are a lot of bad reviews but I can only speak for my own experience. I ordered some pillows,a lumber support cushion and a support cushion, they all arrived, some quickly, some slower, I got tracking, which worked and I now have everything I ordered, three of the four items are great. The lumber support is really good, when you first sit with it the support feels too strong but it's really helping my bad bad and the neck support pillows are really comfortable, they might not last forever because there's no available cover for them but they're washable and really comfy, the fourth item was exactly as described but just didn't really work for me, just one of those things, I've had them from Amazon too, some things work others don't. I can't complain this all worked out better than I had hoped, so everything isn't bad from this site, some things are good. After reading the other reviews I almost cancelled my order but in the end I'm so glad that I didn't, the lumber support alone is worth it for me.
If I could give less than a star I would. Do not use, this is a scam. Ordered June no communications, chased and got tracking information. Showed items hadn’t passed customs and returned. Contacted again and told it would be resent, again tracking information, item is apparently in same place. Don’t even believe that the tracking is real.
WARNING – SCAM WEBSITE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I ordered an Electric Atomized Micro CPAP Portable Anti-Snoring Device Smart Mask, but after reading the terrible reviews on Trustpilot, I immediately tried to cancel my order—well within their stated 24-hour cancellation policy. Despite this, I was told the item had already been shipped and nothing could be done. This is a blatant contradiction of their own cancellation terms. The site is clearly dishonest and unreliable. Avoid this scam website at all costs!
The saddest part is that I reported the issue to my bank immediately, but the bank’s policies seem to protect the scammers more than their own customers. Their rules require a 15-day waiting period, which gives these scam websites enough time to complete the scam and disappear with your money. It’s incredibly frustrating that such systems end up enabling fraud rather than protecting honest consumers.
Thank you for your reviews. This is another company I shall avoid like the plague along with Geartech. Another set of con artists. The sooner companies realize people are taking notice of reviews the better it will be for everyone.
If I could give this company no stars I would . My advice is ' read their bad reviews on this and other sites . I Bought a child's SmartWatch which did arrive but is absolutely useless, as it requires a binding code to pair it with your account and this was missing . Contacted the company and did receive a prompt reply promising it was their mission to give me customer satisfaction . However after sending a video ( odd request as only required a code ) heard no more . Emailed them again and no reply, sent further 3 emails which were obviously blocked as " Daemon Failure unable to send " Apparently this website is owned by Eatcarver Ltd based in London but no email address available. I could write to that address but don't wish to waste my time and money . Contacted PayPal but unfortunately the 30day payment protection had elapsed . Not sure but perhaps Auprobuy.com use this stalling ploy to evade PayPal and credit card providers intervention as consumers generally attempt to rectify the problem directly with the seller first. PayPal kindly gave me a £15 voucher as a goodwill gesture but I'm still out of pocket .
Ordered an item by error contacted customer services by email to cancel order.
They ignored all 3 emails goggle sent me a message the email receiver blocked all emails sent to them.
You have to return goods within 3 days of delivery to recive a full refund that's a impossible task as there in vietnam.
I have excepted I have lost my £62 and feel its a total scam please stay away
Ordered a 12v car fan heater from this company in Asia. My item was in transit for 13 days. It took 11 days to leave the country of origin! Tracking showed it's course. Yodel told me because it hadn't been scanned for eight days it would be returned to sender!? Auprobuy requested a return shipping number from me, and stated I wouldn't get a refund until they received the item back.
I've never seen the item, never received the item, didn't return the item so how come I'm out of pocket £29.99!? I didn't return the item so I don't have a shipping number to give them. Yet again, SCAMMED IN ASIA!
