I was shown everything I wanted to see and given full details of my prospective purchase.
The Audley village is wonderful and I was very impressed. Pricey but then many people have the means. Kym explained things thoroughly and showed me round. Maybe I might win the lottery!
We received a warm welcome by very professional and informative staff members. Coffee in the lounge was a great start to our tour and gave us plenty of time to talk and ask questions. We loved the idea of the community living alongside activities in a beautiful location. The houses and flats were very attractive but sadly, we would need more storage space.,
Still a Joke - following my review 5 days ago, they immediately requested ref no, email address and telephone no, but they still haven't got back to me.
The building and accomodation were excellent' Jennie was most helpful and understanding. we were very happy with the facilities and the potential social life. We very much hope that you will let us know when you have vacancies. The lunch was excellent.
All together very impressed.

All our queries were answered to our satisfaction and the tour and visit to certain available properties gave an insight into what was on offer. A sound basis on which to take subsequent decisions.
Excellent guide offering a tour of the village, chance to look at two properties on the market. Details of facilities, costs, all explained, and we were provided with a comprehensive brochure Most helpful.

Importantly this is NOT a review of the excellent facilities, grounds and surroundings, friendly community etc.
This is a review of how the issue of rainwater entering an apartment has been dealt with.
The rainwater enters above the Juliette doors and at floor level. The plaster has become discoloured and mouldy and the carpet gets saturated.
The issue was first reported at the beginning of October 2025 and many times since by email and verbally. A builder has visited twice towards the end of 2025 but has not solved the problem. No attempts have been made this year.
This has caused stress, upset and distress to an elderly person who only moved in last year for peace of mind.
There is an official complaint procedure which should provide a response within 7 days. This procedure has been followed but no response after 10 days.
Simply not good enough for a luxury retirement village.
