Audi Etron - not reliable - severe battery issues

Hello everyone,

I would like to share my current experience with an Audi e-tron GT (acquired through the Autocorner Lutry dealership) in order to gather your opinions and inform future buyers of this model.

The facts:
• Vehicle: Audi e-tron GT, 2.5 years into a 4-year leasing contract.
• History: The vehicle has experienced 7 major battery failures, each requiring immobilization for several weeks to replace different battery modules.
• Current situation: The vehicle is once again immobilized. To date, around 7 out of 30 modules have been replaced. Statistically, in my view, the reliability over the remaining 1.5 years of the contract is seriously compromised.

The issue:
Despite these 6–7 documented critical defects, Autocorner Lutry refuses to take responsibility for an amicable termination of the contract due to a hidden defect.

I believe that Audi vehicles are not reliable when it comes to electric cars.
