I've had nothing but great experiences with Atomic Empire, just be patient with their billing process.

I've had nothing but great experiences from Atomic Empire. I've ordered from them twice now and thought it takes a while for billing to go through as opposed to Amazon or some of the other major retailers, I did receive my items and I also received them 20% off the normal cost. I ordered 4 TTRPG books from these guys and I've so far received everything I've ordered. I'm still waiting on the current order, but it was shipped and should arrive here by the second of January.

they suck

they suck. If you cant get it here by xmas - dont say you can. you suck again. shipped 14 days afte ri placed the order. you cant be that busy. again - you suck. i hope u go out of business so another better non lying company can do what you are supposed to do better. you suck

Sat on order for 8 days missing delivery promise

Owner and Steve sat on an order for 8 days before shipping and missed the post office guarantee Christmas delivery date. The order placed on December 10th for a in stock item didn't have a shipping label created until December 18th at 10:37 pm.

Item will not arrive in time for Christmas and buyer, rightfully so, is upset. Owner should have shipped it priority after sitting on it for over a week but instead mailed it standard shipping. Owner trying to say delay was because item wasn't in stock, yet there was no communication from them and I followed up in the 15th asking status.

This business has a pattern of poor customer service and shipping delays. Do not recommend them. They don't care about their customers.

Unconventional eCommerce Policy

This was the first and last time I buy from Atomic Empire. The general global eCommerce convention when an product is out of stock is that the product is unable to be sold. On the contrary here at Atomic Empire, if a product is not in stock, or not even released for general sale, they still stock it and sell it anyway; and then allow you to unknowingly wait until they have it in stock to eventually send your complete order once they have that item, be it a weeks wait or a even years wait one would guess! Their customer service stated that this policy is written on their website but, this is not how the internet usually works and customers like me will end up feeling resentment for this policy that drips with greed and entrapment. I for one will never use them again. For the director of Atomic Empire, when a product is out of stock, do not sell it, take it down! Two stars is because Steve had the decency to reply and provide a solution. I ended up cancelling an item to release the rest of my shipment. This was very obstructive and caused an almost two week delay.

“Order #0000001 is a pre-order, meaning at least one of the items ordered hasn't been released yet so the order will ship whenever that item becomes ready. In this case, the outstanding item is the Pro Acryl: Bold Titanium White (22ml) and it doesn't yet have an expected street date. By default we wait until an order is entirely ready before shipping, but if you would like to make any changes to your order due to the continued wait, just let me know! We can remove or substitute the waiting item for something more available, or we can split your order between the ready and outstanding items. Please note that making changes to your order may change your available shipping methods and costs.” - Steve

No issues

No issues, ordered the comic I wanted and it came. Was nervous as it was listed as 'available for order', but the wait wasn't too long at all.

Best Game Store online and off

I have ordered from them online over a dozen times, they always have great prices, fast shipping and friendly customer service. I have visited them (45 minute drive) over a dozen times as well and they are, hands down, the best game store I have ever set foot into.

First order with them was great. No problems.

This is a review for one order off their website. I was looking for some comic book short boxes and just did an online search for them and Atomic Empire came up. Their price for 10 was so much better than other sites that I wondered if it was correct or legit. Did their online chat with their customer service to make sure the product was in stock and not something that I'd have to wait on for them to order but they said it was in stock so I ordered. Then, I wondered if they were just going to drop the boxes out ganged together with no packaging to save money and I'd get them beat up. They shipped my order within a couple days, received it about a week later, and the products were very well packaged/secured with packing paper. I have a mail order company so I notice things like adequate tape on all seams and they did that. So, wouldn't hesitate to order from this place again. I saw some negative reviews about products not being in stock when ordered but just do that customer service chat box if you want to know for sure before ordering.

poor service

i had a mail order subscription service and i will tell you why it was cancelled. i joined the service in 2/21 and immediately had a delayed issue that did not come in for another 3 weeks. March saw constant weekly delays in shipping time and book shipped. recently had an order of 4 books and 3 were damaged, not in transit but shipped that way. i called on a Saturday and was told customer service was closed but they would make it right and he would expedite my problem to customer service and they would get back to me Monday morning. they did not. i called and spoke to customer service who wanted pictures so they could review and get back to me. the tone of the conversation was it wasn't their fault. i cancelled my subscription.

Ordered a board game from their website…

Ordered a board game from their website trying to avoid doing all the holiday shopping on Amazon, they were out of stock and when I was starting my purchase they had one. They will sell you an item out of stock without knowing when it will come back. Terrible practice around the holidays. Lady said it was my fault for not refreshing the page before purchase.... she was rather rude in any case I was like it it comes before the holiday I would be fine. She said she had no idea if or when so I said what should I do? She then replied with you can do whatever you like. I told her her tone was really rude she tried to say she didn’t mean it that way... I told her that she should process a return then. Sent an email within the hour claiming my card would not be charged etc. had the charge deducted from my account for like a week purchased said board game from the compleat strategist... not only were they much nicer I got my item before I got the money back from atomic would not buy from here again.

Great shop for boardgames and tabletop books!

I've ordered 6 tabletop rpg books from here so far (two batches of 3). Each time they came in perfect, and brand new (love that new book smell haha!). came in a small box wrapped with plenty of packing material to protect them during travel.
They have low stock usually, so just keep taking a look back if it's sold out now; and take about a week for the order to process, and another for it to ship, so don't expect to get anything next day.
