Scott from Astute was very helpful in our early conversations ref re-mortgaging our buy to let property. He made some initial enquiries on our behalf some months before we could action a change. We met with him at his office in Cowplain where he and his staff were very welcoming. The appointment took just over 1hr 30mins in which time everything was explain thoroughly to us both. A new mortgage was agreed. Everything is now signed and sealed for another 2 years. Scott was extremely helpful and thorough in his approach explaining everything in detail. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a mortgage or financial advice.

I went with Astute as the house builders recommended mortgage broker nearly cost me my mortgage by running 13 credit searches YES 13! Advice if buying a new build NEVER use the builders mortgage broker always go independent. Anyway back to Astute I used Mark O’Shea Mortgage Broker who was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable on which would be best mortgage and also very cheap and asking for documentation was streamlined and done in one go no back a forth and weeks to get a agreement in principle as done within a few days. Also used David Waranby to get me life insurance after having been refused due to medical reason he got me great cover and at a great price. All when I thought I was untouchable from a life insurance point of you. This is an amazing firm and you won’t be disappointed if you use them. I can’t thank them enough

I could not recommend Astute Mortgages enough. Their professionalism and communication during the re-mortgaging of our property was exceptional. This was demonstrated further with the increase in interest rates, and our provider being particularly difficult. Nonetheless, Scott managed to secure our fixed rate and square away a good deal for our insurances. We 100% use again when we come to renew our fixed rate again.

The best customer service I've seen anywhere. I had a difficult time with my house and getting everything sorted before deadline but Angie was relentless going above and beyond all expectations. She's an absolute gem and I wouldn't recommend anyone else. Thank you angie
