Hi I have no issues with Asda as a store, but some of your policy's need a review.
I purchased a gift card to send to my son and partner who struggle financially to get some basic food supplies and baby formula.
So Asda policy when I rang customer service, the representative was lovely BUT you cannot buy baby formula with this gift card, i can buy jars of food but not formula....this was what I had sent the money over for!
But on the other hand I can buy Alcohol which i ask the representative, which he confirmed i can buy alcohol! But not baby formula.
This is absolutely crazy, so I've had to go out and buy formula from a other store.
Very Disappointed

Couldn't buy enough gift cards
The system is easy to navigate; delivery was instant and I would have given five stars, but I could only buy 5 vouchers at one time and I needed 25. This meant I had to make five separate purchases. This then created problems with my bank, as they thought they were fraudulent transactions.
Unfortunately, due to this, I am unlikely to use this website again.

The Christmas savings card is great for saving. I give it for stars because trying to put money on the card over the internet is not that easy so have to do it at the shop. I like to put it on every week but only go monthly. Anyway still a good card to have

Aweful !! I have bought Asda gift cards for many years and always top them up in store but a cashier told me once it’s so easy to top up on line ! Wrong every time I tried it was not accepted reason was I had insufficient funds in my bank account ! Which wasn’t the case. Eventually the bank froze my bank card as it looked suspicious and the banks fraud department phoned me , they could see what I was trying to do and adviced me to try again but I will now continue to top up in store .

Having been given a gift card, on registering it, I found that I was able to "top up" the card, something I've done to build a useful balance for future use.
